Maybe drake London shown that his Time up and maybe you swap him with another young receiver stuck on another team that struggling bc they are both in the wrong system and need a new play book to bring out their true skill set to be amazing
Johnny Hamilton weighing 60 pounds more than Vince goddam Wilfork is insane. Please let this man have a long and healthy career, Big Men across space and time will revel in this moment.
Watching bengal blank out and go “ ok falcons pick is next” and just auto drafting was hilarious. I’m pulling for Will Hart heavy. Superstar in the making
You could always have a storyline where you “work on” Meeks’ throwing mechanics and upgrade him to a slinger motion or a faster traditional motion. I think that could be an interesting storyline in practice while he’s backing up Trey
Maybe for Meeks you could do something like he has a mentor QB (since that's one of his preferences for signing with the team) and the mentor "teaches" Meeks his throwing motion and Meeks gets a better motion through his mentor
Awesome comment! This idea is awesome both narratively and mechanically. Fixes the problem of your backup QB (with a lot of storylines surrounding him) being totally bricked by a bad animation, and does so in a way that feels realistic and fun to watch!
It would prolly need to be a 2 plus season storyline before completing the change because changing throwing mechanics after that many years of using them can take a lot of time
I know this isnt a funny “i can confirm this is falcons franchise” comment or whatever but i just wanted to say thank you for posting so much great content for us to watch and Happy Thanksgiving Bengal!
Trey Lance is only going to continue to develop and get better. He is definitely a franchise tier QB. Cheeks might be a viable backup eventually. Has Bengal ever had a series where his franchise QB wasnt one that he drafted? Kinda interesting to have a different situation this year
I don't know what his catching rating is, but with his speed and acceleration I think it'd be interesting to see how George Johnston would do as a WR, since he definitely isn't gonna be starting as a CB/S anytime soon
Hey guys, I was a bit confused about the carrington brothers as their names contrast in origin. But, in further research i have concluded that they are product of a hebrew and roman lineage that setteled in england and then moved to the US. But theyre black so im assuming that Jason is adopted or they come from northern africa which was known for being hebrew and roman hub back then.
In the US black slaves took on the name of their slaveowners. You see a black person with the last name, for example, Williams? An ancestor was probably enslaved by a white person with the last name Williams.
i love love love the trey lance storyline always been a huge fan of his and like that this series is different than the process youve outlined before (suck year 1, draft superstar qb and immediately become unstoppable), this series has been more entertaining by far
Great video Bengal! I personally really like the idea of Dylan Stanley but just wanted to say that I liked his original face scan that he had when you drafted him
Had that happen to Anthony Richardson his rookie year. Just like a random Week 5 practice rep he went up to superstar dev even though he had hidden dev still
10:49 Just an FYI, personality is simply a stat for Owner Mode: simulating how many jerseys a player will sell. The higher a player's personality rating, the more their jersey sells.
I feel like you could justify changing Meek's throwing motion to mimic Lance's. That's something he could have theoretically worked on over training camp to get a tighter throw motion and improve.
An idea with the Rookie QB to fix his slow release is sacrificing like 5-10 development points to change it. So once you got like 5 upgrade points for him you'd upgrade field general 5 times and keep track of what went up so you could manually change it back and then change his release. So instead of getting 5 upgrade points and being a 75 overall with a slow release he'd be a 70 overall with a normal/fast release.
NE offense is by far my favorite can’t wait to see this offense go, I think London might need a trade at the deadline though, as a falcons franchise fan seeing these drops every Sunday it’s like I’m watching prime Nelson Aghelor HES GOT TO GO
I think that over next offseason, if you have a mentor at QB, I think you should be able to switch Meeks release to whatever the mentor is…it’s like Rodgers or whoever teaches him a new release
Adjusting a flawed release would be something a quarterback coach helps a QB do. It's not like changing attributes because something is too low. Adjusting motions happens irl
I have a idea bagel you should change the players weight depending on if they worked out in the off season to get bigger or if big ham ate more and got to 400!!! I think that would be fun and cool bit of immersion
I usually say when I draft a QB with a slow release that if they’ve played half to most of the year that they’ve been “Speeding up” their release and give them a faster one 🤷🏼♂️
I think it does make sense to change a throwing motion because with nfl coaches guidance a QB can fix bad mechanics so it is possible for quarterbacks to change their release
it’s actually better if they don’t go up in overall bc then they can have better ratings at that same overall, so everytime they don’t go up in overall from an upgrade they potentially can be better at 99
personality is usually only relevant when you're an owner because it determines how popular you are and how many people will buy your jerseey. Great vid btw! loving the franchise
i’m in my 6th season of cardinals franchise, i traded kyler after a down year and trey lance has been my backup for about 3 seasons now gets the start and hurt week one, my 7th round rookie tyson meeks is the new starter. can’t wait for a 4-13 season but a generational qb in the draft
I think the 11 players who should be cut are kelvin smart, Bret maybin, deven thompkins, Trent leverette, chase Allen, dayvion nixon, Gregory junior, Perrion winfrey, Felix griffin, daquan jones, and Andrew billings
I don’t think it’s not fair to change his throwing mechanics but not like adding slinger but like as the season goes on or something Cheek Meeks develops into having better throwing mechanics going into the wing of a better/ starting qb
Hidden dev can get upgrades. I drafted a corner who went up to superstar in training camp then up to xfactor in pre-season week 1 training. It tells you yet he still stays hidden lol
maybe cut heinecke and grab a vet in free agency during cut week? Could be really interesting to see another 2 seasons of qb battle. It'd definitely keep the franchise interesting if Meeks was another Brock Purdy trying to take Lance's job even after he's developed into a solid NFL option.
San Francisco playbook with that deebo package & WR backfield formation you could manufacture touches for Drummond if you decided to put him in the backfield. 49ers playbook also has plenty of 12 personnel in the singleback and i formation. 🙃🤙🏼
Just play that Meeks QB drill more often and pay attention to what works because coverage really doesn’t vary past 2 animations. You can absolutely complete every single pass
HELPFUL TIP: for the Long Haul drill, I've found that flicking Left, Left, Down, Down and then dodging the last one works incredibly well every time no matter skillset or ratings.
Honestly I feel like changing meeks’ release wouldn’t be that big of a deal. As long as you maybe wait until the off season, because that would be the most realistic time where a qb going into their sophomore season would realize their release isn’t as effective as it was in college and they would mix up their mechanics.
Hey, I am a new madden player because of this series. i just discovered this a month ago and am now all caught up. Thank you for introducing me to madden Bengal so far it has been great. But can anyone help me and give me some tips on how to be better and how to do well in franchise? Any helpful settings for beginners? Thanks.
Fun fact: If you draft a hidden dev trait and you see a X factor move when you go to focus players on that rookie, you know you have a generational player.
Honestly Bengal I feel like it’s not unfair to change a QBs release if you put like an incentive behind it. You absolutely would have a reason to do that, these releases from meeks are noticeably less responsive lol

This. Maybe he starts working with a legend QB and learns their throwing animation?
Maybe just have the bad motion through the entire season before he can change it.
Changing QB mechanics is not a simple thing hahahah
@@stantmf4702 I think that’s why he came up with this idea.
I agree but it shouldn’t be a 1 week change. It should be multiple weeks, maybe 10 weeks. So after week 10, Bengal can change his throwing motion

Dev upgrades can happen to hidden players. I had 2 in the same training camp, both rookies went up to xfactor

After his first year you should change Meek's release. It makes sense thematically with one more offseason to change his timing.
Definitely should increase the OLineman XP based off them not having drills and because they never develop
Why does Bradley Pinion look like Lil Dicky snuck on to an NFL team @ 44:20 😂
I think that over next offseason, if you have a mentor at QB, I think you should be able to switch Meeks release to whatever the mentor is…it’s like Rodgers or whoever teaches him a new release
