I hate this narrative of "Black men must protect black women". I honestly do not think many black women know the difference between "protect" and "save". Many black women don't want protection because ACTUAL protection means ceding a measure of power and control to the person/entity you want protection from so that the person/entity may be effective in doing what was asked of them in protecting. Many black women want to be SAVED from the consequences of their actions, especially after being TOLD that a potential outcome would be very likely should they go through with whatever and it happens.
That's a way to put it. They don't want to be protected, they want to be saved.

Some of us can use examples of right here in the states. Meaning some of those same women from other places visiting for a one year or two off of a VISA show MAD love toward BM. I was married to a black woman for just short of 15 years. She passed away from breast cancer. I have two children from her, the youngest will be 18.
After she passed and I decided to date again, there weren't any black women I was interested in. I guess I was married so long, the pool of black women had changed. I went to an HBCU, and education isn't a huge factor when it comes to finding a worthwhile woman. My wife wasn't the stereotypical black woman,; the loud, obnoxious, liberal type. I wouldn't have married her if she were.
The pool was empty when it came to desirable and compatible black women, so I didn't date them anymore. Fast forward to now, I met a Thai woman in 2023. In March, 2024, I went to Thailand to meet her family and now, we're engaged and plan to get married in the summer of 2025. I kept it simple. I wasn't going to bother with layers of rachet behavior and ignorance to find what I wanted. At my age, I have lived enough to know exactly what I want and what to do to get what I want.
I started a new business last month and my future wife fits in perfectly. Brothers can still build. You don't have to build with a black woman to have success. YOU are the common denominator of your life. Carry your cloud and it doesn't have to be dark.

Not true. I was a single black mother. Her black father never gave my child anything except for 9 other siblings with 5 different black women. My daughter is married. We graduate at a similar rate. Every man of every race out earns the women of their race annually as a collective. It's less than 2% of the blk population incarcerated and that's split between BM and BW smh. Most blk ppl are out in society. 54% of Blk men between 18-50 are childless.
