It's unfortunate that they didn't live up to expectations. I did notice when I did some tip rolling on the GD3A that the KBEar red foams actually seemed to improve staging instead of darkening the sound signature like foams usually do. It was a pleasant surprise. If you can get your hands on some of the DioFit eartips for a reasonable price, I'd highly recommend grabbing the Multi-flanged and Standard Leakage models. I haven't tried their others, but I've found that their wax guards and the choked port seem to help tame upper treble harmonics. They're my go-to tips for the TRI Starsea and GD5. The staging still seems to be acceptable despite taming treble peaks.
I made a comment earlier but not sure if it was posted. Could I ask you where you bought the diofit tips? I own the starseas and i've been struggling to find good tips on them. There's only an amazon listing for diofit branded tips with the name "diofit Premium Designed for Samsung SML", made from silicone. Im guessing these would be the Standard Leakage Model?
Will try to get them and see what results I get. As for VX Pro its not bad, but a GD3A is better ....which is a pity as they had everything to have made a real winner. TRN is just launching stuff .... And the truth is only the MT1 has been worthwhile all things considered. The ST2 without a Tanchjim filter is .....well.....is.....but with filter....wowwwwwwww. X7 I actually like it but without EQ to bring up the highs ......darkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. VXPRO is the opposite.....listen to it low it's pretty good.....of you have a volume problem like I do.....your ears will die
@@akros9333 if you get a chance to pick up some of the DioFit eartips, try tossing some on the VX Pro. Maybe it'll be as transformative as it was on my Starsea.
@@origami9378 I've tried posting the link twice and TH-cam keeps killing it. I've found them on Amazon in the same listing that they have the foams, silicone foam dome, Multi-flanged, and the Standard Leakage. I like the standard leakage in particular because the ridges help reduce insertion pressure build up, but I suspect that their standard silicone tips would also help. They have a similar aperture design and mesh wax filter, so it should still be beneficial. I just don't have that set of eartips to test and confirm. The Multi-flanged tips are also nice, but I prefer the standard leakage for the Starsea. The Multi-flanged are living on my GD7B. They do still boost bass a bit, but they seem to be the better of the two DioFit eartips that I have for staging.
Thank you Albert Christian Martinez
I guess being an audiophile makes enjoying music slightly more difficult

@@mndlessdrwer Thanks a ton! It took a bit of digging but I finally found them. Looking forward to trying them out on the starseas.
