I’m pretty surprised that the mini figs in coffee/coke didn’t get any staining after 100 days, or that the nail polish remover turned the fig into Smurf poo 😆 Maybe throwing them in different more acidic fruit juices, lemon, lime, grapefruit 🧐
Its actually simple to understand why. Coke contains Phosphoric acid, but these acids don't atack plastic, especially in the given concentrarion. Instead, nail polish remover contain a chemical known as acetone, which is a strong organic polymer Destroyer. But it can destroy some plastics too like lego and styrofoam
Acetone would be like lava for those mini figs, imagine if you could make a sand dam flooding with water onto mini figs video but with acetone... harsh. Also, I am trying to build a small clone army mainly including 501st and 212th clone troopers. I have around 25 right now, but it is slowly upgrading. But compared to my 55 droid army with a few custom built vehicles, I need more clones to defeat them. I am finding your videos very interesting and unique compared to any other YT channel. PS, I really like your new clone army.
10:37 its because milk to becone stinky and yucky has to come in contact witha sepcific bacteria, wich also makes it into cheese. Since its been compleatly sealed off there is a possobility that the specific bactiria never touched that milk.
Great Video Daley! This morning I was literally thinking about what happened to those minifigures. I think putting some figs in paint or something could be cool too. Keep up all the great content Daley!
I found out that nail polish remover damages LEGO the hard way… a few years ago I put red nail polish on a snow trooper to turn him into a galactic marine (very nice work I must say) and I tried to remove it… the helmet has no definition in the slurp, all the print is gone, and I had to sharpie on a smiley face 😂
Keep up the videos! Awesome content, always great entertainment. Also I think you should put Minifigs in any type of school lunch sauce. It would be interesting to see what those will do to a figure! Lol… 😂
For the give away, salt water, apple juice, and 100% achole ,orange juice and lemon juce (for the juice make sure its mostly fruit juce or just squeeze lol)
You should put a layer of cooking oil on top of the nail polish remover container to prevent it evaporating. Bit of a different idea but I'd be curious how a Lego mini figure would survive being in a block of ice for a year
I love your vids and I also love that every vid you do a giveaway because that means that if I dont win a giveaway i can just enter the next one, I think you should try putting a minifigure in acetone
@@DaleyBricks yea you are probably right :p tho maybe you could burry it in the yard? a small amount like in a jar shouldn't do anything too bad if it caught fire anyways
After the 1 year you gotta clean them see if they are still usable and see how much they eroded then you need to see if there's any massive difference from when you originally put the figures in the Mason jars.
Nice video once again! I didnt expect the nail polisher to turn the figure into a paste Also did you try vinegar yet because hat would ve interesting to see
I remember the video you did a month ago and I think it would be cool if you put a mini figure in baking soda and vinegar and close the lid before it explodes
Yes, aceton (nail-cleaner) dissolves ABS(figures). You can more or less repair ABS with Aceton or destroy it completely. Same with Styropor put in aceton, and it is gone.
Daley!!! Stop breaking lab protocols! You're going to hurt yourself! Also, if you ever wanna do something like this again I could give you some truly wicked stuff that oddly, isn't illegal but you have to promise to wear gloves!!! Don't go poking your fingers around in corrosive materials, I've done that enough to tell you it's a horrible idea. (Also the material on the bleach container was oxidized metal, the same thing will happen with sulfuric acid or hydrofluoric acid.)
The worst part about the nail polish remover is that powerminers are hard to come by
sadly
True
i know that nail polishers can remove prints on figs or other toys but i never knew it can actually evaporate minifigs like that
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) doesn't like Acetone, and this is how it can be broken down
@@loreraptor5093 that's fascinating.

The secret lies within chemistry. (Acetone. Its a powerfull polymer Destroyer.)
IKR
This is a crime against Lego collectors
Exactly! I could have got them for my Lego Alliance against Brix!
Lol
It is
Yes
Daley has to run a Poll where you decide which Lego Faction is the best. Like City, Friends, Technics, Architecture, and so on.
Bro its crazy how the nail polish just demolished the figures
it's because it is acetone based, Lego plastic doesn't like acetone
11:25 is the timestamp
prime
I like how he wouldn’t put his hand in gone off milk but bloody drain cleaner straight in 😂😂

maybe dipping cut fingers into 100 day old liquids may not be the best of ideas
All the figures in everything "we're fine"
The man in nail polish remover: "I'm melting"

I can't believe the nail polish remover did that, the power miner disintegrated! Nice video, I cannot wait to check back again in a year!
Some ideas for liquids
-milk
-salt water
-vanilla
-Clorox
-washing detergent
-apple juice
-oil
I would add kool aide to a jar. I feel like that would at least stain one!
Hmmm. How about Hand Sanitizer, that might do some damage? Love your Videos btw!

Keep toy story logic in mind when you're watching this
Love the vids, I’m pretty sure gas would damage the figures
What kind of gas 🤨
Ze Legos why we are poor we shall gas zem
Daley boutta commit a few cheeky war crimes
@@jack69429 I’m on dark mode so I could barely see your profile picture
Dump one in sweet tea, one in a jar full of water and a battery, and one with gasoline
for everything that dosent wanna watch the full video, nothing happen except a cape melted
I think you put some minifigures in with some melted wax. I just want to see them get stuck
I remember the first video in this series can’t wait for the year one

You gotta put them minifigs in some REAL acid. Lol fire content as always, Daley.
Also, the nail polish go crazy 😂
Imagine in the next one all the figs in the nail polish remover turn into a glob mini figure monster
Damn this was a banger episode but I thought we where going to another galaxy far far away😭
But the amount of cinematic scenes where insane

Massive decal and Lego order today
“It’s for science”
11:58 reehehehe time to commit some Lego war cri- “FBI OPEN UP!!!.”
You should see what happens if you put them in acetone, you could have done this in your other video, I don’t know, it’s been a while.
Yes i ones placed a batman minifig in acetone and melted horrible i still dont know how the plastic jar did not melt (note i was a dumb kid)
the main ingredient in most nail polish removers is acetone
@@zouzousmum Thanks for the fun fact 👍
The nail polish was insane! It literal like incinerated the Lego. I think the best one would be an oil one.
3:20 All of the metallic paint as well as the blue paint has been removed by it too

one, I think you should try putting a minifigure in acetone
SML’s Mr. Goodman’s “Eww poor.” 7:12
Learned something today. Don't underestimate the power of the Polish Remover of Na'il!
Put some mini figs in real acid that would be so cool
wow that npr had insane results. can you put one in chlorine? like a water with chlorine in it
That would be crazy, but I'm a little worried about accidentally making Chlorine gas so I'm gunna skip it haha
I think it would be cool to add a jar of paint or juice to the mix
You could try submerging a minifig in gasoline maybe? i know it can react weirdly with plastics
A little too dangerous to keep gasoline in a mason jar with plastic for a month, but I like the spirit of the idea!
@@DaleyBricks yea you are probably right :p

do this test but with lego mario in all of the stuff

"I pickled innocent LEGO minifigures and left them for 100 days for content"
I love the half and half, such a unique idea...
You should put a mini fig in the stuff that is in glow sticks.
After the 1 year you gotta clean them see if they are still usable and see how much they eroded then you need to see if there's any massive difference from when you originally put the figures in the Mason jars.
I would like to see you put figures in chocolate sauce, and hot fudge!!!
I wouldn't touch *100 day old* stuff with *cuts* on my fingers ever in my _entire existence_ tbh
Nice video once again! I didnt expect the nail polisher to turn the figure into a paste

Great video Daley you could put a minifigure in super glue
I remember the video you did a month ago and I think it would be cool if you put a mini figure in baking soda and vinegar and close the lid before it explodes
i would love to see sprite and also keep up the good videos
Maybe put the lego on lava, coke, glue, slime, mayonnaise, pee and shampoo
I never thought I'd see a minifig covered in fermented cheese but here I am.
Not the first time someone put figurines in a jar….
i would love to see a timelapse of nail polish remover
I think you sould try puting minifigures in Sprite soda!
I love your videos!!! 😄🥰
Poor Daley 😢 rip you're hands
I really want this comment to get popular on this video and you make a Lego Town And put it in nail polish remover😊
Good luck
This is a great way to se what happened to LEGO but at the same time I was sad for the minis
Love the vid some cool and suprising outcomes
i think it’s be cool to sing them in straight food coloring
The nail polish remover had the best effect
12:14 its the "DIP" from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit"
I think milk oil or tea could be interesting to put the minifigures in 👁️👄👁️
AWESOME video dude I was thinking that u could really put them in like some slime maybe, I'm curious to see what will happen!!!
Keep this guy on a watch list
Daley trying not invent a new bacteria challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
That nail polish was wild, I think you should try something that may stain like iodine or something
You should do a duel between coke and pepsi. See which dissolves lego minifigs more
Floor striper would take a lot of the figs I'm sure .
i want a time-lapse of the Minifigure in the nail polish remover
Acid and legos, weird combination, but sounds cool
Acetone (nail polish remover) and almost any form of plastic product. Literally just makes napalm. Add motor oil for added effectiveness!👍
You should place some mini figures in Kool-Aid, it'd be cool if they got stained red.
You should do Chocolate syrup with a mini figure that has a white torso!
Yes, aceton (nail-cleaner) dissolves ABS(figures).
You can more or less repair ABS with Aceton or destroy it completely. Same with Styropor put in aceton, and it is gone.
This might be quite basic but i think lemon juice would be quite cool to do.

you should try acetone and paint thinner!
