The slave castles in Ghana have a "Door of No Return" and everyone that visits usually breaks there at the thought. I cried tears of joy thinking my ancestors were taken from these ports in chains and thought they (their descendants) would NEVER see this land again and I flew there 400 years later...LOOK AT GOD!

The beginning of the video reminds me of the corrupt police in Nigeria smh. If anyone wants to visit Africa as a foreigner, it’s always best to be w/ someone from there! You get to experience the culture, food and people better. And w/ situations like that- it’s easier to navigate!

I found out a few years ago that my roots stem from Senegal, and I’ve read about that heritage as much as I could, but I won’t be complete until I visit Dakar. Thank you for the VLOG

I spent new years 2018 in Tanzania (vlogged it as well). The most amazing trips are when you go with people from the country who can show you around, experience both tourist attractions and local hot spots! I agree everyone should visit Africa and hopefully multiple countries.
