Yes good point but it will be okay. She has a helicopter standing by with a specially-designed main rotor that won't fan the flames with a rope ladder so she can climb up out of there in a moment's notice

@@Kariegoz, As a survivor of the Paradise, California wildfire, I can say that if embers are blowing past you, it is safe to say that your back is probably on fire.

I can’t imagine not dropping the damn equipment and helping people. They could have taken the three horses and gave those folks the ability to go back for more. At a certain point life should take the priority. Either stay out and be safe or help, but don’t slow people down and get in the way.

I'm all for good journalism, but this reporter and her cameraman seem dangerously close to that fire. Please be safe. You don't need to be that close, just use the zoom on the camera.
This is just ridiculous. Are y'all adrenaline junkies or are your jobs forcing you to do this? Sane people don't stand in a fire like this. Y'all are a danger to yourselves and others that might have to rescue you. Worse than Influencers.
Those reporters really need to get out of there. It would be so frightening to try to get your animals out safely, and to have to set the horses free 😢
Having her right there, with all the flaming embers flying around and the molten fire burning just feet away while she's trying to breathe in all that smoke...she never should have been there. Dangerous, reckless, and could lead to just one more emergency rescue that firefighters will have to run to when they should be fighting the fires.
The Network is putting the reporter´s and cameraman on danger. It is interesting coverage of course but I can´t stop thinking of how much danger they are put in, it should even be illegal
This isn't funny. One wrong wind gust and wind shift and that girl and her cameraman could be standing in a 1000 degree outdoor oven. It would be over in seconds. She shouldn't be sticking that microphone in those people's faces trying to get a scoop when they're clearly trying to get tfo of there.
The reporter can barely breathe! OMG this is so dangerous, why IS SHE OUT THERE LIKE THIS! You can show footage of the fire without putting this reporter and her team in danger. She’s inhaling smoke on air! There’s embers blowing around her hair. That’s insane. Slowing down the evacuation and creating a possible situation that will further endanger firefighters? This was SO Irresponsible.
I grew in So Cal in the 1960's-80's and fires happen. Before the hills were shaved off and covered with homes there was a horse corral there with trails. The high school had large areas of fenced in field. 6 ft or higher fences. The people would bring their horses to the high school and let them run in the field until the fires were put out. The horse loved it, running around with more freedom. Later all the hills were shaved off and covered in homes, asphalt and concrete. The horses lost their home and were moved someplace far away or sold off for dog food.
I kept thinking about how bad it would be if it made contact with her hair. If she was wearing Hairspray, she's extremely lucky it didn't go up in smoke.
@alouise3557 Omg yes. Very lucky and foolish to be so close in that burning wind. I had a bit of my hair go up in a poof once. 😮 Scared me to death and I have been very cautious since. Hairspray is very flammable. She's either naive or a blind order follower which isn't very smart.
