They've filmed many legendary movies here - I remember as a kid watching all these great movies like the Star Wars movies at the end there would always be "Filmed at Elstree studios in the UK"
For all the amazing things that have come out of those studios,it looks surprisingly small from the outside....I am thinking of signing up with a few film & TV extras agencies...I use to do it years ago,and it is a nice way to earn a bit of extra cash on the side....Hope you are good
Hey, thanks for filming my old high st (Shenley Road). I've been in Oz for a few decades now, so its nice to see the old haunt. Shame you walked into the sun with a dirty lens, lol. rookie error for a famous film town. My dad worked in EMI for a bit, draftsman. said he worked on the designs for the inside of 'The Saints' XJ-S. My early memories as a 7 year old was going to a media presentation with Mark Hamil & George Lucas answering questions in a big staged area at EMI. Got an autograph from Mark at the end of the media questions (which I still have). Probably one of the first autographs Mark Hamil every did for the Star Wars Trillogy filmed there. There have been studios there from the mid 1910's, MGM, ATV, BBC, EMI and a heap of small outfits. Britains Hollywood in my view, but I'm bias of course. Hi...I believe that is the Universal Film Extras Agency....A lot of film & TV shot in this part of the world....I'm not entirely sure,but I think it is a casting/extras agency....Thanks for watching :)
