There’s something profoundly kind and healing about his spirit, a warmth that radiates from him that words can barely capture. I can just feel it, this man is going to touch souls, mend hearts, and in ways we may never fully understand, save lives. His purpose is clear, and the world will be better for the love and light he brings to it. I have no doubt that he’s destined to bring his dream of creating classes for self-love to life.

Keith is just awesome. He inspires me in so many ways and I think it’s so important for people with his platform to use their voice to change how society views mental illness! Keith is doing just that and I’m so thankful for it!

It’s so amazing to see two black men having these types of conversations because it’s almost looked at as a sin in our community to feel any type of way except strong.

As mentioned here, we really don't hear enough about black men struggling with anxiety, specifically social anxiety. This is my area of interest, and I really enjoyed this.

I've discovered Keith a few weeks ago through Perfect find. I gotta admit at first I just found him handsome😅 (and a good actor) but I'm happy to see that he's intelligent too. I love that he highlighted the importance of educating yourself and researching knowledge. And as someone who's been battling anxiety since I was a young adult (and maybe before that), and even had depression, I definitely can relate to this conversation. And loving yourself is sooo underrated ! Seeking love in yourself instead of trying to get it from others and having compassion for yourself are fundamental. bell hooks' books on the subject like "all about love" are very useful resources. Therapy was literally life changer in my life and I encourage people around me to go to therapy all the time.
I can't wait to see him in another roles and to watch him further improve his acting chops. He has a bright future ahead of him.

The new movie The Perfect Find led me to this remarkable conversation. I am a new fan of Kevin Powers, and now appreciate his honesty and insightfulness about keeping himself mentally fit. I’ll make sure to share this video with a men’s group that I know will benefit from this truthful conversation.

A self-love class in grade school is a wonderful idea that would help a lot of younger people. A lot of people aren’t taught to love themselves before anyone else. I was just thinking about this today. So many people have difficulty truly loving themselves for who they are for various reasons, but it’s really important to love yourself or begin the *process* of truly loving yourself. It will take time, but I believe most can do it if they set their minds to it. I hope Keith can accomplish his dream one day. 💜
