2 Peter 3:8 says "be not ignorant of this ONE THING that, that one day is with the Lord.... This means Peter is telling us not be ignorant of this ONE THING which is verse 8 but also verse 9 which is about end times.
Secondly because this ONE THING from verse 8 is also mentioned in the old testament I believe there's something to it. Therefore since Pastor Damina did not do an exegesis of this verse but rather he did more of a passing comment talking about figurative speech which isn't enough to change people minds, therefore on this note he did not pass the mark on this occasion.
Final note, I'm a listener of Pastor Damina as I agree with 90% of what he preaches

Please read and study the Bible for yourself so that you can understand and protect yourself from errors, any man of God can interpret the Bible wrongly whether knowingly or unknowingly even damina may.

I feel your videos can be shorter. 20 minutes is too much. I know you make them as long so people can really understand what Papa is saying but you can make a 5 minutes video for us to get the general gist , with a link to a longer one for those who want more in depth explanation. Pastor Damina, your eisegesis teaching is fundamentally flawed. If there is no evidence that Satan is a choir master in heaven or on earth, there is also no evidence that one day is like 1000 years to God,” is a figure of speech. The funniest part is the actual scripture says, “Do not be ignorant of this one thing…,” while you’re teaching people to be ignorant of it.
When you make these heretical statements, you have to use scripture to support them. You can’t just suppose that it’s not true, if it’s in a reliable interpretation of the Holy Scriptures.
I heard you say where the Bible is silent, we are silent. Where the Bible is loud, we are loud. The Bible is loud on that particular scripture. It is in the Bible in more than one place, 2 peter 3:8, Psalm 90:4 etc. God put it in there in for a reason. And He doesn’t want us to be ignorant, lest we perish for lack of knowledge.
Who are we to say it is a figure of speech without scripture to support that supposition?
Truthfully, I’m enjoying your teachings, but you might be straying a bit far. Be careful, lest you blaspheme the truth of God with destructive heresies and you lose your own soul.

as far as you are concerned, any other interpretation is wrong. Dr Damina picks one verse of the Bible any use it to condemn other chapters and verses
Honestly, may be except for new comers or babies ,he actually taught nothing deep ,new, or that was confusing but he spoke as though there have been a higher Revelation he discovered.
Jesus talked about (the rapture)he said one will be taken and another left (Matthew 24).David also talk about a 1000 yrs as been equal to a day (its a figure of speech with a specific hidden meaning) e.g you read in science 10 million years,20million etc but the earth is about 7
Figure of speech or not, the question also should be: is it impossible for Elohim that 1,000 years be like 1 day. The problem of Dr Damina is that, as he can't teach about the book of revelation, for him almost all the book of revelation is full of figures of speech!
He has already taught... just get his full teachings on Understanding the book of Revelation.
The truth is that one can read the Bible from Genesis to revelation several times cover to cover as they claim. and yet have not had even one encounter with the God of the Holy Bible. Such a fellow does not know God and can not be His mouth piece because God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob does not know him. You need to know this God one on one to be broken to beHis microphone. Sir.
