I wouldn't say it is a waste of time using the scratchboard especially when a student under time constraint cannot visualize well enough. A quick but accurate visual can help to solve the questions and may end up saving time trying to visualize in the mind.
7:05, "Some greenhouse gases are characterized by hot wet weather", you say the conclusion does follow however the text only mentions warm wet weather, is it safe to assume warm and hot refer to the same weather and say that they follow or would you make the distinction and say the conclusion does not follow. Please reply thank you :) !
Hi! This is a good question that you've asked - It would be an *inference* you would be making from the passage (a technique we teach in verbal reasoning) - I appreciate where you are coming from also but suffice to say that if greenhouse gases have warm wet weather you can use the same logic for "hot" being a synonym :) - Hope that clears it up!
Hey! I'd suggest focusing on your accuracy first so attempt questions in an untimed environment and ensure you are getting them right & then from there focus on your timing and attempting questions under timed conditions. Hope this helps!
Hi this is a good question, I would recommend trying to scan the text and getting a gist of what the passage is about and this will allow you to understand whether a conclusion follows or not - We don't recommend doing this for verbal reasoning however it works for these types of questions. Also what Sunny has said is also applicable :)
Sorry I dont quite understand the difference between the interpreting information type questions and the drawing conclusions/ syllogisms type questions. Or do they all just come under the same category. :)
i just love how you teach its i just get everything

Hi, I am having serious problems with timing how can I improve my accuracy whilst doing this under timed conditions
