- BOSS Mega Distortion MD-2 demo with my commentary provided throughout the video.
This is a change of pace compared to my usual "RIFFpost" videos, where I overview the pedal before doing the demo without commentary. This opens up possibilities to have at least 2 videos per pedal, one with very little commentary at the beginning, and then a second video with commentary provided throughout.

Got one coming in the post. I use an old Rat for distortion currently, but want to try something more modern with more bottom end on tap… Settled on this guy! Thanks for the vid.

Currently use a Rat pushing a Zoar. Sounds great, and I always come back to a Rat after trying other dirt in that spot, but I really like the girth of this MD-2 and want to try it in that spot.

You're welcome. I have a really cheap starter 7-string Ibanez that wouldn't do it justice with its cheap humbuckers. I am planning on buying a decent humbucker guitar soon and I will keep this in mind.

I just purchased one of these online, I can't wait to hear it in person. I want to use it for some heavy rock tones through my fender hot rod deluxe.
that's the amp I use when I make these videos, a Hot Rod Deluxe IV. Enjoy, it's a good distortion pedal.

The ability to control the low and high end is cool, too. I used to have a metal zone, and that was an awesome feature. Just getting a thick yet cutting distorted sound is like my jam, haha

@@monotoneunknown9555 Love me the Metal Zone, still have one. But with this MD-2 and the "Bottom" control it will definitely give you some thicc distortion.
