If you leave Perlador to maturate - it does need quite a few months - you're in for a buttery-smooth smoked vanilla 😍 I find this much smoother than Red Tobacco, and it's not so dry as RT either.
I own Perlador, which I love, and Lamasat Oud. If you like the profile of TF Oud Wood and Thameen Carved Oud, I recommend you try Lamasat Oud. Personally, I don't really like the profile and plan to sell my bottle, but I can still recognize the quality of Borouj's version.
Everyone that i watched says that perlador is a massive monster in smell. It seems most parfumes need that breakin sitting period to mature! Excited for it.
Like others, I didn't even know Borouj was Dumont, lol. Thanks, post. Have you caught wind of that Amber Oud Dubai Night fragbuy just put up recently? Rumor is that it's a Montale Arabians Tonka clone, but reports are all over the place with that one. Some say is, some say isn't. Price seems really nice for extrait de parfum though. Honestly though, I was more interested in the Dubai Aqua release, also extrait, and said to be a beast mode summer fragrance. I emailed fragbuy and they said that if people show interest and ask them about it, they'll consider carrying it.
Good to know about the Aqua. Honestly I've had several Arabian Tonka clones lately and am not in a rush to try more just yet. Aqua I will ask about though
@@PostCologne I'm gonna go ahead and pick up Dubai Night to see for myself since I don't actually own any Arabian Tonka clones, but yeah the Dubai line seems like a great value, especially that Aqua. Extrait concentration summer banger? Are you kidding me dude? Definitely something I need to have, lol. Hope enough people email them and fragbuy carries it since they already offer Dubai Night. Cheers.
Perlador is INCREDIBLY strong. Had 2 sprays in a kebab shop and the lady behind the counter asked me "are you the one smelling like that??" Great quality but oh my. 1 or 2 sprays are PLENTY. great box, great presentation and fabulous atomizer!
Borouj Perlador... Hi PC, I really appreciate your channel. I discovered several fragrances here that I added to my collection, and which are now among my favorites. I'd like to talk a little about the Borouj Perlador that I've had for a while and which is now in my top 5 in my collection. First, I think the notes announced for the Perlador are inaccurate and I really don't understand where they got these notes. Perlador is very close to Carlisle. I have compared them on several occasions side by side on scent strip and on the skin and they are similar, although slightly different. I suggest referring to the PDM Carlisle notes to get a much better idea of the profile. Some compare Perlador and Carlisle to Red Tobacco, but honestly, I find that they are closer to Mystery Tobacco or its clone, Charuto Mysterious Tobacco (but Perlador / Carlisle have a more discreet tobacco note and a amp up patchouli note). Perlador and Carlisle share a strong patchouli base, which gives them a dark and earthy profile that can be quite polarizing. Personally, I prefer Perlador, even ignoring the price, because I find the patchouli note more pleasant and less offensive. To my nose, patchouli sometimes has an unpleasant smell of burnt rubber (for lack of a better description). This is the case for Carlisle and for other fragrances such as Pure Malt. In the Perlador, I smell patchouli, but I don't detect this smell which puts me off. (BTW, the same goes for Star Men Nebula which I highly recommend as an alternative to the discontinued Pure Malt...). Also, the sweetness of Perlador and Carlisle have a different profile. Fo me, the sweetness of the Perlador is more fruity while that of the Carlisle is more caramelized. Finally, you should know that both are beast mode. The projection and longevity of both are among the best of any perfume I own or have owned. I made the mistake twice of being too generous before going to the office and I received a few comments like: "it smells good, but it smells too strong...” LOL

I’ll second this, bought last year and sprayed for this first time in almost 6-7 months 🔥🔥🔥 it’s got SIGNIFICANTLY smoother and better!

Hey PC. Just getting into some of the Dumont offerings. Not too bad so far. Thanks for the video.
Dumont is killing the game, so are you...
I have peladour, it does have a sweet tobacco note in the opening similar to the tobacco note in exclusif tabac.
