I do find lately, after just a few weeks, that instead of wallowing in self pity after I hear something I don't like from someone around me (those who still push my buttons, like mom... :) ) I call myself to prune the events instead, and shape whatever interactions I would like to have with them instead. It's fascinating. And also very freeing to learn that it's all fluid and nothing is fixed and you can actively change the world around you.

I've tested this , years ago with small things, imagining seeing a relative pass by, and the same day it happening, so I tried something bigger, a woman ending a relationship, to be free to go out with me , it scared. The life out of me, I didn't proceed further. My advice is don't play with games with this involving relationships. I stick with material objects, houses, cars money, etc.

Personal experience: assumption or using imagination works, but if that reality isn’t part of one’s long term destiny then that thing will be lost eventually. Always great to experiment with these principles
