Kanye was my hero, as a Chicago kid from the Kenwood area.... graduation was the last time me and my mother truly bonded over music. Just sitting in that blue minivan for hours, just talking.... I miss the old kanye and the old chicago. Block club parties, ice cream trucks, coming in as the street lights came on, skateboarding in the alley... 😢damn.

Just came back from a 6km walk, random unplanned route. Just kept walking. woke up at 4:30 am. Wrote some business ideas, journaled, decided to dry fast till midday. Say what you will about Kanye but as someone born into a family with a whole lineage of musicians and eventually becoming a part of it I believe Kanyes Graduation and MBDTF are two of the greatest albums to have ever been produced only second to a few albums like Madvillany , Abbey Road , Let it be , thriller and a few other. Also by second I mean very close and it sure does take a hell lot to even come remotely close to being as great as these albums
