Hey man....... Someone’s burning $hit down
Various shots of the wreckage show that this building was of "engineered wood" construction -- a fancy name for plywood and glue.
This was a reasonably modern 17,000 foot wooden tinderbox. Take a look at new construction in your neighborhood, you'll likely see the same. For whatever reasons, building codes now allow the construction of huge wooden flammable structures. The claim is that these buildings aren't firetraps because they are protected by sprinklers.
This video shows the result.
Shooting water with a hand line to the roof isn’t doing anything.
TOWER LADDERS
THIS is the perfect example of WAA! Weak Ass Attack. Poor use of tower capabilities, no attempt to "surround and drown". What's their motto? "Slab savers" ?
Looking closely at the video, it does look like they are preventing the fire from spreading to the large trees next to the building by attempting to reduce the heat impacting the trees. A water curtain, or even spraying water that may not do much to that volume of fire, but reduces the heat released in that area, will protect the exposed trees. If the trees were to catch fire, they could spread embers to other buildings, creating more problems.
GOOD MORNING
Spontaneous insurance combustion.
I went to church around there. SMH
Why Do The Cutting Saws Sound Like They’ve Got A Swarm Of Bees As A Motor?
They are two cycle motors...much lighter two handle then a four cycle.
I just saw this on the news channel
I guess the only people that are super busy right now and still have a job, are the ones getting paid big bucks to burn the business that are shut down, for insurance money, but tehy are putting a lot of brave fire & police men & women in danger.

hosing like that from the ground on that fire is useless the water would be vapour by the time it hit the fire ..get up a ladder and aim down on it..
Barbara Collins you a fireman.?
@@alohamd165 dont need to be ,its common sense... the intense heat of the fire would have evaporated the water before it landed....its common sense
@@barbannco climbing on a ladder would expose the firefighters to that same intense heat, not to mention the possibility of wall collapse. May be better to put water through a door or window. They also have a limited number of ladder trucks to place on the fire. There could of been an exposure concern and the handline was the fastest way to get some control over the exposure.
