Kazuha trained in ballet for 15 years (from 3 years old to 18 years old). She trained at the Bolshoi, the Royal Ballet and the Dutch National Ballet, and won the Silver medal at the Asian Grand Prix Competition - Junior's Division 2018. Her transition into K-pop dancing wasn't easy at first, but her progression has been explosive. Thank you for this Zuha-focused video :)
I still think she had more difficulty learning to speak Korean than her difficulty in transferring into Contemporary Dance. Outside of having trained since she was a toddler, she's a naturally gifted dancer which is why she stuck with it for so long (not just because her parents wanted her to be a Ballerina). She could have quit when she was Thirteen or maybe even before that. She just enjoys physical expression THAT MUCH, so it won't matter what dance style she tries, she will be at least 'good' at it right from the beginning. She has a natural Physical gift but then there is also her LOVE for it, so her Emotional gift, which means her Mental gift also plays a part in it and makes her try so hard. She really puts everything she has into it; the making of a World-Class Dancer.
@@Ginpachirah If you are going to be THAT SKEPTICAL about it, then you would not trust US to get you your information. You can look this stuff up for yourself. Besides, I'm not here to do your homework for you. And since you don't have any trust, then you should look it up using more than just one single search engine. Use google of you want but do the search AGAIN on at least one other search engine, just to verify if google can be trusted. Have a fun week... :P
@JCORR76 I have done some research. Mina Myoi has done ballet for 11 years during her childhood. However, I could not find any names of the dancing school she attended while practising ballet.
It's not really about how much time somebody does ballet, it's more about real profession - winning competitions, auditioning for ballet companies, trying to get pro. I didn't see any Mina achievments while Kazuha was about to join Dutch Opera theater.
I really enjoyed this, I was hoping someone with a background in ballet would react to Kazuha! There are a couple other videos of her ballet online, I would love if you did more reactions on them :)
1:36 "It's always Swan Lake-inspired..." Maybe these ballet movements are inspired by Swan Lake, but that music is the famous Habanera from the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet.
imagine how many japanese girls study ballet from a young age - but don't grow to be tall slender & long-limbed - (Kazuha is about 5'7") - well - that happens elsewhere too - but as an asian guy - i know that many others would rather not have the typical asian frame that they wound up with

She was the real deal, the professional ballerina. Mina from Twice was more like a hobby ballerina
Don't think Mina did ballet as a hobby. She trained less years than Kazuha before becoming an idol, that's all.

Thanks for the reaction! I always learn something new from you, Margaret.
7:40 this variation is queen of dryads from Don Quixote ,not the lilac fairy from sleeping beauty
You are so right! I knew it was one of the iconic variations. Thank you :)
I love Kazuha ❤
