India and China have the largest populations of the world followed by the United States, Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Russia, Mexico, Japan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Egypt and Vietnam. With this map you can see both the population levels as well as the density of the population.
*Correction: Mexico is part of North America and not Central America, which is stated in the video. That mistake is on me, and I can only apologize.

It'll start declining since this decade as the TFR(total fertility rate) has declined to 2.(For the population in a given area to remain stable, an overall TFR of 2.1 is needed).

Mexico is only part of North America by trade agreements. Ethnically, culturally and economically they are Central American.
Geographically they are North American, biographically they’re split between north and South America, I’d say it’s about the geographic positioning above all, like how half of Indonesia and neighbouring islands are part of Australia’s tectonic plate, biographic sector, and share the same origin, making those islands end up clumped with Australia

Those questioning India's Population, here is a quick recap : India's Total Fertility Rate (TFR) was at 5.9 in 1950, it was 5.1 in 1970, then 3.5 in 1995 and then 2.2 in 2019. We will have Replacement Level of TFR at 2.1 within next 20 years. So, There is no such population explosion going on in India. Just after 20 years. India's population will start to decline.

There's a saying that the 12 Billionth person will never be born. That number may have been bumped up to 13 Billion, but the fact of the matter is that our population growth will drastically slow down once we hit 10 billion.
I know that might be hard to believe since we were able to triple our population in just a century, but thinking our planet will be an overcrowded, overpopulated dystopia in a century or two is a very pessimistic mind set. The world itself will never allow our population where global overpopulation is a real problem. It's certain areas that become overpopulated that need to spread out.
There is a map where a circle is drawn around China and India......and more people live just inside that circle than the rest of the planet. And there are signs that even their population growth is slowing down drastically.
As long as the rest of the world doesn't start seeing a population boom like China and India.......we will never reach 12 billion people.

@Renzo Pinasco I highly doubt it. I'm mexican myself and learned at school that Mexico is part of North America. But since this video is in English that's what I will discuss. Therefore, if you look out Mexico in Merriam-Webster dictionary (or any English dictionary really) you will find that Mexico is defined as a country located in North America
@@christianhipolito1648 Thats because it is an anglo saxon dictionary. Ask anyone in south america (or spain for that matter), where Mexico is located and everyone will say it is located in central america.

@@renzopinasco2206 that is a complete falsehood, since we were little Mexicans instill in us that we are North Americans, we are a small one, also if we get into the economic field we find the TMEC (Treaty Mexico United States Canada) which specifies that it is composed ONLY by countries of North America.
I believe the current number is 7.9 billion. That is insane. Something should have been done about this a long time ago.
