Thanks for pointing out that Sports Card Forum site. I'm going to have a lot of fun checking things out there. Also, looks like Shaq is another person that signs just about everything that comes his way.
Long term usually things work out. He’s got a loooooot of signing years left though so his autographs aren’t that special. Like real estate, with cards I try to make money on the “buy”. Get a good enough deal that there will always be profit. So his rookies at the right price are good.
Factor that into the net profit. Or even better ... sell off eBay directly with people at local shows or others you network with online. I mentioned that in the video as well.
Good point. Always clock your time and put a value on it. I’ve front-loaded my experience to the point where sending a card though the mail “might” take me 5 mins now. Considering I put together a $300K fully autographed 1986 fleer set for maybe a net cost of $20K I would say that “research, effort, and initial investment” as you say has been fairly rewarded. It’s up to others to decide what is worth it in terms of trading time for money moving forward.

Sadly Shaq has a secretary sign all his stuff … don’t send anything to him. He does paid signings though
Thanks for the info, cool video! 😊
Thanks!
Thx for the ideas.
No problem! Some are better than others, but it was mostly a brainstorm …
What’s your thoughts on getting into Brady rookies for the long term?

@@SportCardMadness I actually don’t like the auto stuff for that reason, I’m thinking more numbered rookies.
@@thelasvegaskid Go for it! Just do your research.
Great info. Subbed!
Thanks! Lots more cool stuff planned!
What about ebay taking 13% fees?

Thin air is a bit misleading. Your efforts, research, financial investment to increase value and selling efforts are not thin air. 😂
