Hi Abbey! I appreciate all of your hard work and going in depth with the ingredients. I don't have any that you mentioned at the moment. The ones I rotate through are 'evolue' hydrating eye serum, purlisse Blue Lotus 4~n~1 eye adore serum, Olay eyes Ultimate eye cream (the beige colored one), MyChelle Remarkable retinal Eye Cream pm renew & hydrate, it has vit A, plant stem cells & peptides and lastly lol Malin + Goetz revitalizing eye gel. I'm going to look up all of the ingredients on these b/c I dont like fragrance in my skincare either. So, thank you again so much, I've been really enjoying your vids and "catching up" 🤗💕

I love the Cerave eye cream. I’ve been struggling with really dry under eyes recently, and got a tube of this, and the dryness has really eased. I love the texture - it’s like a mixture between a gel and a thick moisturiser.

@@AbbeyYung I have tried many eye creams, mostly high end and I've been struggling to find just the right one that is the perfect consistency with results, without irritating my sensitive skin. I heard so much about Cerave and Cetaphil so I bought both of them to compare. I, too, wish the Cetaphil didn't contain any fragrance because I loved the texture of it, especially in the AM under concealer. I do like the Cerave but I wanted something a little more luxurious since I'm in my early 40's. I just ordered the one by Versed and the one by Cleure. I can't wait to try them. I hope I like them as much as you do. Thank you again.

Thank you for this in depth look at the eye creams. I really enjoy your channel. I typically don't use eye cream because I think that my face moisturizer can just be taken up under my eyes and skip a step. However, I have started using the Drmtlgy universal tinted moisturizer with spf that I am obsessed with but it settles into my under eye wrinkles by the end of the day. I think it is probably due to the zinc oxide in the Drmtlgy. I am much older than you and have recently noticed my skin getting a little dryer. Do you think the Cleure might help with this issue?

I don't know on which video to comment but I just want to say thank you so so much.. You're advice and shared beauty tips have helped me soo much already. I purchased Pureology Strength cure and it was just so amazing for my hair, it's my new holy grail conditioner. I also got Olaplex No 3, which works so well as a treatment. Recently I shifted towards using Cerave moisturizing cream and I'm totally in ♥. It has seriously transformed my skin and sorted out numerous skin issues for me :-). Recently I purchased my first product from the Ordinary (The Buffet) and I'm loving what it is doing for my skin around my eyes.
All these products were reviewed and recommended by you and they have all made a positive difference in my life, so thank you. Love you're style and taste ♥

Abbey, Loved this video and subscribed! I have an older, partially used Cerave eye in my vanity. I believe I was sensitive to it; don’t recall. Thought I heard hyaluronic acid can cause sensitivity to those prone to it. Is this true and, then, is sodium hyaluronate less so? Which of your favorites are better for sensitive eyes and can also be used on brow bone and side of eye? I need hydration, attention to fine lines, love a great consistency, rarely wear makeup. I’m 63 years old. Thanks!

    • @AbbeyYung
      @AbbeyYung  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for subscribing happy to have you here 😊 a hyaluronic Acid sensitivity will totally depend on each persons skin. Cerave is a great option for sensitive skin but again, it depends on how your skin responds!

There's a new Cetaphil eye cream that seems very similar to the one you mentioned without the fragrance (I think :)) It's called Cetaphil Deep Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum. It has a light blue metallic cap and as far as ingredients, it contains: Dicaprylyl Carbonate (emollient), jojoba esters, sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, tripeptides, algae extract, and vitamin e! It does contain blue daisy extract, but from what I've seen, that is somewhat of a natural alternative for hydroquinone. I would love to hear your thoughts!
P.s. don't even look at the other products in that Cetaphil line...they all have fragrance :(

idk where u got the roc eye cream bc mine was only like 20 bucks ? also if you are looking for legit anti aging with years of studies to back up the efficacy, then retinol (vitamin a) is the gold standard and nothing to sniff at. it’s the only ingredient that is going to work long term on any anti-aging benefit that isnt just temporary not to mention boost collagen. Frankly if your eye cream doesn’t have retinol then it’s just an over priced moisturizer sold to you in a tiny tube when you could just use your face moisturizer lol.

What would recommend for an everyday under eye cream to target dark circles and puffiness?

    • @AbbeyYung

Apparently the skin under the eye is similar the the bowel. It takes away the puffy bags and darkness. It’s a bit thick you don’t need too much. And smells a bit vanilery. Check it out. 😀

Rachael Redlich It is often used for blemishes. Helpful with redness & inflammation!

Ok please do not use this for your eyes. I heard about this over a decade ago. Please know that I have been in skincare for almost 3 decades and although I only have an esthetician license I do extensive research with dermatologists recommendations. My derm said "absolutely "NO" to this idea. Its can cause serious problems. Anything that does not have substantial scientific backing should not be recommended for use on your skin.

Dermatologist are skin doctors they recommend products for the body. Things they recommend say it on the products or will say developed with a dermatologist...all you have to do is Google dermatologist recommend eye cream, serum, body wash, etc.

NOOO :(:(

Cerave is terrible. Not worth the money. Rather spend more and buy Cerave night cream , better for under eye .
