About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. Acts 16:25-26. Heavenly Father, You are worthy of our highest praises. We know that when praises go up blessings come down. May our praise break every chain that binds us. Let us make such a joyful noise to You Lord that it will shake the foundations of the earth. Let us sing and make music in our hearts to You Lord. We will give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus. We will bless You Lord at all times; Your praises shall continually be in our mouths. Our souls shall boast in You Lord because praise is what we do. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
