Composed by Hideki Asanaka, mainly known for being the lead composer on a lot of the KOF games (did a lot of the music in 96-2000, XI, XII, XIV, XV). Fatal Fury-wise he worked on Real Bout, Real Bout 2, and Wild Ambition (with several others). He seems to not be doing as much in COTW, probably because KOF is his main thing idk
I like it! It's like a continuation of Grant's theme and then transitions to a new theme, which makes sense given Vox's lore so far. Also, the song is reminiscent of Toshikazu Tanaka's music tracks.
I see what you mean by the trumpet solo sounding like Tanaka, but personally it reminds me more of XIV/XV Asanaka stuff than anything from Tanaka (which tbh is probably just because it's Asanaka, but still) But the theme for the amusement park stage (Hokutomaru's theme maybe?), now THAT one sounds like Tanaka
I doubt that. If Vox is going to be gunning for anyone in CotW, it would be Terry. Terry's the reason why Grant met his end, and that was probably why Terry was the one in Vox's trailer.

If Yamazaki does appear(which I'm not dismissing the possibility), it's debatable whose side he'd actually be on. Could be on Kain's side, or a different party entirely. It always comes down to whose pockets run the deepest with Yamazaki.

It's curious how some elements and mixing style remind me slightly of the team Mexico theme from KOF XIV. However, these elements were perfect for Vox Reaper. Amazing!!
