Instead of coloring the bottle i recommend taking the sharpie apart and cutting the ink dye open and letting soak in the rubbing alcohol you get more dye and a more vibrant color.

You can also use sidewalk chalk and water. First you scrub the chalk to a powder, then add a little water and apply it to their hair. My sister does it all the time. It stays on for a long time too

You can also use crepe paper
Method:
*Pour water into a bowl
*Mix in some salt
*Stir for about 6 minutes
*Add in your crepe paper and you'll see the colour coming out
*dip the doll's hair in and wait for 5 minutes
*then blow dry the doll's hair
And voila (trust me it does work) P.S when the paper is in the water you may have to squeeze the paper for the color to come out.

Turtlie . I did it its great but try to use white i stead of blond hair. I tested on a peice (sorry old doll) of my old dolls hair and with blue it turned green so be careful with that if u do this. :D

Another idea to dye a dolls hair is to put water in a container and and whatever food coloring want and the dolls hairs in there

I tried that and it kind of worked but it faded within a few months. I tried putting some washable poster paint (i dont know what other paint works because i didnt try) i left the dye in for like maybe an hour and a half but it depends on how vibrant you want it to be. I have had it in for a little over a year and it hasn't faded much
