Hi Sohit, I enjoyed watching this video of you and your son speaking Konkani. I think it's great that you're teaching him so young. I am from North Goa but grew up in Bombay as did my parents. I never really got to hear goan konkani much. I did hear some mangalorean konkani but it sounded very different from what we heard when we went back to our village. As an adult, I am trying to find good resources to learn konkani in a kind of informal way. Your video is exactly what I was looking for but the American baby pronunciations (although adorable) were very hard to follow. Would you consider making a series of videos similar to what you've done with your son but with you speaking the phrases so that people who are looking to learn can pick up the correct accent? It would be a huge help as you have experience teaching English speaking people. I love watching your family's videos as you guys are a lot like my mixed culture family.

Vernekar really appreciate your efforts of trying to teach konkani to your kid but it would be nice if you teach him with correct pronunciation konkanni that which we speak in Goa and your American style konkanni
At least he staying in America teaching son Konkani... there are so many goals staying in Goa and they don't speak to their Kids in konkani... they want there kids to speak on English.

@@ashdaabi4716 in Goa primary education is in Konkani , Marathi and private schools English. And for your kind knowledge I studied Hindi when I was in 5 the standard . Learning Konkani means the person doesn't know anything .
