+RC MAN 23 Also clutch kicking will "straighten" your line. It will keep the car sideways, but allow you to cut more of the corner. For example, if you are sliding towards a wall, and as your about to tap it, you clutch kick.. It will kind of "boost" the car fowards. rather than keeping that out of control kind of slide. This is very useful in tight track or gymkhana drifting due to how much you can alter your line with it.
dude for your 2nd time ever you killed it!!! more e brake on some corners and you won't need to hit full lock each time, but once you run some extended knuckles you'll be fine!! keep it up dude these videos are sick!
I like watching you drift, because although drifting is easier the more experienced you get. But what I like about watching you is u can tell the difficulty for people new to drifting.
+Lucas Oliveira angle kits usualy tend to push out your front wheels due to the lower control arm being extended so that the wheels dont rub , nothing to do with fitting a motor 🤘🏻
Doing great for your first few times out there. Don't expect slide a whole track man. Get in tune with your machine, keep doing what your doing, and soon the car will fit like a glove. watching someone elts (with some experience) drive your car as well is great practice as well. Keep it up brother!
I can't drift myself, but comparing the dude's steering technique and your's i think you should loosen up a bit more and try to make less hectic and sudden movements. +Ethan S an E brake is a different term for handbrake, you're thinking of a hydraulic E brake or hydraulic handbreak. I know that in England no one calls it an E brake and in America no one calls it a handbrake.
all of them are wrong the term hand brake originally comes from the first cars wich brakes were controlled by your hands, "e brake" is a term for emergency brake and on alot of cars and all trucks it is actually on the floor controlled by your foot

THE E BRAKE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!!! I have slid everything you're not supposed to. I've linked corners in lifted trucks and civics. Trust me when I tell you for entries while you're learning the e brake is like a warm hug and yours is way better than any stock hand brake I've had so far so don't be scared to use it. It is the most precise, controllable way to enter a slide so much so that drift judges in FD and D1 look to see moments of rear wheel lock ups to deduct points so use that shit to help you get used to it. When you clutch kick as a beginner you have less modulation on your entry so you have this big polar moment of sidewaysness that you have to try to compensate for mid corner so you have to rely on steering and throttle corrections that keep you overly busy and pull you out of drift, kill your Rpms, and momentum. It seemed like in the video you were the only one trying to clutch entering into the corners. Don't try to be daigo just pull that handbrake
Goes to show how much I notice those name tags for everyone. I was like wow that looks just like pat goodin. Wait.. That is pat goodin! So much better in this one. I was literally scream GAS IT! at the hairpin every time you got the line right.
Actually a pretty inspiring video set. I want to do a few drift days as well, mainly because I want to get comfortable with the car beyond the limit. It should help me push the car faster around the track and get more out of it.
Hers a tip,(I know you said you were having probs with your e-brake) but to hold out longer drifts out a turns/corners,pull your e-brake and let your back end slide out when it starts to grip back up and then give it a little clutch kick to keep your tires spinning, this will take A LOT of practice but it really helps!!
i dont know that much about drifting but if my suggestion helps id say. when you feel like your loosing angel on the first right turn, instead of steering the tires right to gain it back. use the e-brake to bring the rear tires back out.
I loved the angle from the side of the car, let us see the track and the inside at the same time. Great drifting! I definitely can't do any of that right now haha
when you go to throw it into the corner, make sure you pull your E brake and put power down straight after and that should help pull you around the corner ☺
Modified knuckles, Extend LCA's like 20-30 mm (I run 20 mm) and run the Tein S14 inner Tie Rod and find a heim joint outer and you'll be perfect. I run the rack spacers on the inners of my tie Rod too and it adds just that little extra bit of angle. Perfect set up for my S14.

If you were to say, obtain an entire physical setup with wheel and pedals, you would also be able to practice numerous other aspects to drifting. Ever thought about buying a brake bias lever and learning to left foot brake? You could trail brake through the corners meaning you could practice going a lot slower.

Hey Adam when you start to spin out you should push in the clutch so you don't stall. Also when you're understeering (wheel turned but car keeps going straight) try lifting off the accelerator or dabbing the brakes to transfer the weight over the front end so the front wheels grip again. I don't drift on tarmac but I do rally sprints on dirt surfaces and this is what we do. You're making good progress tho and these vids are heaps fun to watch. Keep it up bro!

Hey Adam when you start to spin out you should push in the clutch so you don't stall.
Also when you're understeering (wheel turned but car keeps going straight) try lifting off the accelerator or dabbing the brakes to transfer the weight over the front end so the front wheels grip again. I don't drift on tarmac but I do rally sprints on dirt surfaces and this is what we do.
You're making good progress tho and these vids are heaps fun to watch. Keep it up bro!
