Incredible. I just discovered her music in 2022 and instantly fell in love. Listening to her songs makes me feel very emotional, it moves me deeply. I believe Fujita-san is a very kind-hearted person, because you can feel it in her music. It's that kindness and deep empathy that touches people's hearts.
It's truly amazing how big her discography is. And I've already listened to all of her albums from 2007 to 2023 and I just want to listen to her whole discography again and again. Every song on every album is incredible. There are no bad songs in all of her catalogue. Everything she puts out is a musical masterpiece. And most of her songs have really complex harmonies. She never uses simple cliche chord progressions. She is a super pro-level composer and pianist. To write songs like this you must have a very profound knowledge of music theory and harmony. And that's what separates j-pop and k-pop from western music. All western music from the past two decades is super primitive and it uses only the same basic four chords in every single song. Few years ago after watching My Neighbor Totoro for the first time I fell in love with Japanese culture and I started to discover japanese music. I was completely blown away by Tatsuro Yamashita. I fell in love with music from Studio Ghibli films. I was also completely blown away by KOKIA. And also some other artists like Yorushika, Aimer and many others. But Maiko Fujita just stole my heart. My goal is to learn japanese. I really want to understand all the lyrics in these songs. I started learning japanese two years ago at the age of 33. And discovering japanese culture changed me so much as a person. I live in Ukraine and I'm a music teacher. Currently there is war in my country. And japanese music and also some k-pop artists like IU and Taeyeon really helped me to not break down. They really gave me emotional support in hard times.
@OlegBagriy-jl1jj Totally agree with you. Japanese music has something special that we love so much that are different from other kinds of music. Thanks to Amy Lee from Evanescence and Fujita Maiko, I started to learn piano years ago. I'm not good at it because I don't practice enough, but it's feels good when I try to learn to play Fujita Maiko's songs. Right now, I'm practicing the song Shunkan. Have you heard Kalafina? It was a trio of girls who have so many beautiful songs. I have heard some songs of Kokia, beautiful voice of her. Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) has a wonderful soundtrack too, Hiroyuki Sawano is the composer. Coming back to Fujita, yes, she's been making music non-stop since her debut. What I love about her is the way she tells stories with her songs. Even when she talks about simple things, she puts something that makes it wonderful. I'm learning Japanese, and I translated ALL of her songs. If you want to know some specific song, tell me, and I will put the english lyrics. Thank you so much for telling me your thoughts. I have heard about the war in Ukraine, and I'm so sorry about that. I live in Uruguay and speak Spanish. Sorry if my English may sound weird.

Sakura, no puedo evitar imaginar Japón lleno de cerezos, y pétalos caídos.
@@SakuraM34 y sonando esta canción de fondo. Sería hermoso!
