I really like that you guys make videos on your product, it feels a lot more secure when you’re spending a hunk of money , I’m waiting to get enough for a deep freezer and this machine and hopefully will be ordering before black Friday , I don’t care about Black Friday I always cared more about getting my product in the mail vs lost or stolen .
Glad to hear! Makes us thankful that we are investing our time and energy into it. Yes, typically black friday-cyber monday is very, very busy. We are already quite busy and we are still a month out. Feel free to reach out to us with any of your needs. Thanks again for considering JVR!
We won't profess to be experts on liquid ring vacuum pumps because they are not used in the industries we serve. This is likely due to the fact that liquid ring pumps are unable to achieve the low levels of vacuum that are necessary in the vacuum packaging industry. Liquid ring pumps also require a clean supply of liquid (typically water) in order to operate and thus they are not self contained.
question . I own your vac 100. is the vacuum the same in the 100 vs 110. next question is I only use my unit once in a while do I still need to change the oil in 3 months the first time
The Vac100 and Vac110 have different pumps, but they are made by the same manufacturer. The standard initial oil change is 3 months and standard oil changes after that are 6 month intervals. But yes, we do suggest you change it by these intervals. Good questions!
I have a follow-up question to mib20000's question. If the oil is good for up to 500 hours of use and it only gets say 20-50 hours in that time, then why would it still need to be changed by fixed month intervals (or could that time be stretched out as I've heard other TH-cam reviewers say up to a year between oil changes)? I'm a person that would use it a lot for a large home packing project, then it would sit with minimal usage for a period of time, which is why I ask. Also, along that line, if it were to go unused for an extended time, would it be better to just drain the oil for storage?
We suggest sticking to the monthly standard as our primary suggestion. Consider the hourly oil change as the secondary suggestion. If you hit those hours prior to the monthly standard, then change oil earlier. Typically Vac100 users hit monthly prior to hourly. This is typically why we voice the monthly oil change over the hourly. Also if your unit is sitting for two or more weeks, please do not forget to run the CLEANUP program to ensure as much of the moisture content can be removed from the pump to prevent internal corrosion. You can leave the oil in the pump for storage or drain. Whichever you prefer. If you leave it in, make sure the oil is changed at the standard interval. If it is emptied, be certain to refill oil before operation.

I have a JVR 100 and I have had two pump failures...the original one you all replaced when it was new and now the second one is having oil blow by back into the chamber like the original. No the pump is not overfilled and yes I clean and change the oil on the regular....your pumps suck apparently.
It's unfortunate you're having trouble again, it's very rare but sometimes issues do reoccur, lucky for us it's not the norm. We never received a call from you but it sounds like you need a replacement inlet check valve for the vacuum pump. This is the brass threaded fitting that the gray vacuum hose connects to. The pumps isn't bad, just a fitting and we're looking into it. And I agree with you, our vacuum pumps do suck, but then again all vacuum pumps do. 😜

@@JVRIndustriesInc I appreciate that, I have no problem paying for the part as its out of warranty...just frustrating that it keeps happening...I will add, although I have had problems with the oil blowing issue, the Vac100 does do a great job and we use it almost daily.
They can be quite expensive in this market, yes. You are not wrong in thinking that. What offsets the cost is the difference in bag/pouch cost. You can save up to $0.47 per pouch when switching from a foodsaver style unit to a oil lubricated rotary vane chamber vacuum sealer. Hope this helps! Have a great day Tannis.

Hi, Thanks for your valuable video, could you explain same comparison between rotary vane and liquid ring pumps?

Oil pumps make the units too expensive!!!!
