i agree that alonso is a good player but the yanks dont need a other righty power bat. they need table setters and now that no soto we need speed on the bases. guys are going to have to get into scoring position...i think gill for tucker is the move to make the yanks have enough pitching that losing gill wont hurt and gotta get a deal done now while he has trade value coming off a roty award...and i honestly think weaver showed he can be a closer..he was a beast in the post season out pitched clase like he was a beast after he took over for Holmes..so I think the yanks aside from tucker need to focus on getting 1st base handled and 3rd base..they gotta move jazz back to 2nd.

I wouldn't sign or get Pete Alonso. I'd go after Kyle Tucker and Cody Bellinger to fill the infield and outfield needs. The Yankees need to trade Beeter, Peraza, Perreira, and Spencer Jones for Kyle Tucker. For Bellinger, the Yankees trade Strohman with Rodrick Arias to the Cubs.
