@@CatsAreKindaCool imo, it 100% technically IS a coaster. It has a ride vehicle that rolls on wheels that are attached to rails. It gets hoisted up a lift to gain Potential Energy. And then it travels through a layout, turning Potential Energy into Kinetic Energy. And it's fully gravity powered. When you break down how a coaster functions, this does every single thing.
@@wickedphant0m true but on a mountain coaster you are the one operating the vehicle so you can go as fast as possible or do a slow/scenic ride so that’s why I think it isn’t but It is definitely impressive on how long this ride is.
@@CatsAreKindaCool counter-point: The oldest European coasters (some of them still in operation) featured a brakeman who rode along and manually operated the brakes. Those are all universally accepted as "real" coasters, so why does it make a difference on a mountain coaster?
holy crap, that's a long lift hill... I have ridden on the Timber Coaster in Duluth several times, and their lift hill is at the end of the ride, vs at the beginning... but almost 12 minutes of lift hill, wow!
I feel as if this is cheating by including the length of the lift. Imster Bergbahnen uses a chairlift, so every inch of its 11000 feet is ride, whereas this probably has 4000 feet of chain lift.
I could listen to the full album version of I'd Do Anything for Love (but I won't do that) by Meat Loaf in the time it takes to get to the fun part and I still wouldn't be all the way there.
I can't believe this has been the world's longest roller coaster for 15 years and hardly anyone knows about it.
It’s technically not a rollercoaster but yea

Peace and quiet and beuatiful views😍😍😍😍 sounds like heaven to me
12-13 minutes up, 5-6 minutes down. But so cool!!!!
Good thing the sled is not as big as a car. The kids would be screaming ARE We THERE YET ?
Brilliantly said !!!!
The lift hill ends at 12:53.
12:49
I haf to skip 10 secs because it was moving pretty fast when you said
So 12:49 is the meta
12:49
Definately a bucket list coaster for me. Doesn't seem overly trimmed either, a nice surprise. Let us enjoy the ride as it was intended to be enjoyed.

I like the snigger at the end, whatever it was that motivated it.
May I use this footage in a video I'm making on the world's longest alpine coasters? I will give your channel full credit in a subtitle.
Theme Park Crazy : hello, your question we have totally overlooked. If you link us and mention in the description, you can use it.
I'm curious. I'd be very interested in such a video, but I can't find it on your channel. Was it cancelled?
Thanks so much for posting this! Hopefully there won't be snow when I get there.
You are welcome and have fun with your visit.
Love the sandals
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
Thank you
Thank you for sharing this bro!
Ours got cancelled because of the rain 😔
Hi there! Very cool!!! Was that a chest-mounted camera or helmet-mounted one? Cheers! 💚📽🔝
Thanks. It's a chest-mounted cam.
@@WorldofparksTV Cool! I will keep it in mind for when I ride it myself 💚🤘🔝📽
Nice 🙂

sucks for imster than. that ride could have had a chain life too
@@gabess no, because having a mile of lift would be miserable. This already is too long.
The sliding part is 3600 metres at Tobotronc and 3500 metres at Imst. So Tobotronc is the "winner" even without the 1700 metre elevator.
Hi.
Can you tell me the price for 1 down?
Thanks
Actually it is 35€ (!!) including a burger meal after the ride...

that ride i will try
definitely fun
Ist die länge des Coasters auch für den Lift oder nur die reine Fahrtlänge?
Lift - 1700m, Slide - 3600m.
Jesus that is long
The 5,300 meter length is a good stretch. Hence the longest Alpine Coaster in the world.
And technically also the longest roller coaster in the world
i cant believe this is over twice as long as steel dragon 2000
was ein mopped
molt perillos ,no pujeu,seguretat deficient!
You are supposed to hike up and then as a reward you get to slide down.
Obviously lazy people will not do that.
4k??????????
