    Tht bronze hilt one is a remake of a sword they found in a viking burial. Which really all their items on grimfrost are remakes of stuff tht pepole have found.

    Does the sword have a sharp edge? Is it bent at all? Is the guard set center of the blade? ...mine has no edge at all. The last 6 inches are bent a little like ski if you can picture that. And the cross guard is of center you can see the sloppy space made for the tang is to wide so it's off to one side.

      mine was blunt, a slight bend but nothing crazy. and mine feels fine as quite well balanced.

      @@gtafans93 how do use the belt buckle? Thank you for answering

    • @gtafans93
      @gtafans93  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@einarvolsung2202 The belt buckle can be hard as you have to move it like and old school belt. You need to knot tie it.

    Fellow Aussie Viking here, great video bro. Is sword sharp? Also have you hit tested it and did it receive any damage? If I grab one I want it to hold up and not take much noticeable damage

      Also do you live in Victoria? Because I hear you need a permit to buy swords or at least sharp swords, but I live in Tasmania and you don’t need a permit here

    • @gtafans93
      @gtafans93  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's not sharp but it's well taken a beating Ive hit it on my viking shield made of wood and metal. Though I admit I havent gone the whole nine yards with testing it. so far it's fine with little tear

      @Sithlord566 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Aussie Viking I’m not sure how I missed you saying it’s not sharp because I did watch the whole video. But why would they make such an amazing sword but have it blunt? Do you think I could sharpen it with a grinder without it breaking it or is it a full on blunt square edge? Appreciate you help man

    • @Sithlord566
      @Sithlord566 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Aussie Viking it says on Grimfrost that it’s double edged and semi sharp, I’m really confused I want to buy this badly but not if it’s blunt

    • @gtafans93
      @gtafans93  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sithlord566 could be it was only blunt in Australia since we cant have sharp objects imported only blunt. BUt you can sharpen it to a sharp edge. I'd send grimfrost an email for complete details on that. or if you want to learn how to sharpen a sword it be a good starter

    Very nice review but in my opinion the swords look the same as the cheap replicas from indian manufacturer DEEPEEKA with the difference that a belt is attached! Notably sword scabbards do not look very historical...🤔

    • @gtafans93
      @gtafans93  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      so it may looks the same but the swords quality it's strong feels Good in the hand and honestly if you sharpened it. It would do damage.may not be 100% accurate historically but I think it's beautiful
