An extra fact. I was on the Norwegian Jade in April. They charged $125 for a covid test. The cost in Ireland was €30 ( less than $35) Probably could have got a €15 test in the port prior to departure. We were meant to go to Parmos but it was cancelled. Our 2 days in Israel was destroyed as they were Holocaust memorial days this meant no access to Yad Hashem and many other sites in Jerusalem. Then our ssy in Santorini was cancelled because of a Greek strike. OK, I understand about the strike but surely N C L should have known about the Memorial days for tgd Holocaust and the cruise to Israel rescheduled months before hand
Go to ncl.com and see the rates. I just looked and 9 days is about 1 grand, but there are cheaper options that last 10 days and have a rate of about 700 dollars. NCL sometimes offer coupons and you can talk to vacation planners I wish you the best of luck.
It varies. A shirt being sent to the laundry will cost you more than a pair of socks but less than a suit to be cleaned. The self service laundry is just a few dollars for a full wash load.
If they charge you $15 a day gratuity does that mean you don't personally tip the waiter, bartender, room service etc? It seems like they would expect a personal tip from you.

If they’re charging you a $15-$20 gratuity automatically how much would you suggest that you pay directly? I want to do what’s fair but then I’m living on Social Security so I can’t be just throwing money around.Thank you so much for replying to my question and having the patience to educate this poor old and unsophisticated thing
When you book your trip, in the vacation summary it'll show where your ship will stop everyday. The excursions are divided by port of call. On one day you can have various options at different prices and activity levels. It'll show how long each tour is plus what time it starts. It includes transportation from pier and back again. You can and should pre-book prior to sailing as capacity is limited for each excursion.
30th january 2020 NORWEGIAN JADE CRUISE HONG KONG We were denied on board just because we have passed through China in last 30 days. I understand concerns about the coronavirus it's a serious issue but it doesn't give anybody a right to discriminate and detain people. The reason why I'm furious about the whole thing is that there was absolutly no informatio prior our boarding, the crew discused it the night before and there was no public announcement. They did it because they were concerned for the crew and guests, but what kind of satety measure is that if they allow people from Hong Kong to get on board? Media informed that there were positive cases of the coronavirus infection in Hong Kong at the time. So the decition hasn't been made based on public health, this is the case of discrimination and selective safety measure targeted on people comming or passing through China, even if they have never been to Wuhan or Hubei province. If there was a real concern abouth the coronavirus, NCL would cancel the whole trip like all the other cruises. One more thing cruise doctor refused to examine people who were denied to enter the ship even it was his duty to do so. Please anyone, if you know or can help us how to seek legal help or inform the media there has been 40-50 people denied to enter the ship due to this discriminatory methods by the NCL Norwegian Jade crew. Till this time we haven't got any response from NCL. Please help. Thank you.

Ok you can buy the extra from your travel agent. Cost ok. Air $99 via norweagen. It’s worth buying extras

special dining is different charged different gray is not included for them but for any other service is included gratuity for free diners/food
