I retired last year and have become absolutely obsessed about board games. Since I discovered your channel, I come to you first for rules and play throughs. You two are the BEST. Thank you!!!!❤
The art direction on this game is superb. I think it could be a nice game to bring people into the hobby and also could make a nice warmup game before playing something heavier.
Great video. I appreciate the way you explained the reasons you were making certain moves. I find learning strats to be more helpful in understanding a game, over just reading the rules.
Picked up a copy at Airecon and twelve turns just doesn’t feel like enough. I feel like you’re just starting to get into your groove and then the game ends. I’m a really big fan of it though, and as you’ve said, it’s stunning!
What about a “home rule”? Maybe try 15 rounds…. I don ´t know the game yet, but I am going to buy it, it looks stunning😊 I don ´t care if it is a bit “too light”, as some people say, I enjoy just having fun and be able to relax while playing a game😊
For some reason, until watching this, I assumed "In the Footsteps of Darwin" was the same as "Darwin's Journey." Colour me surprised--and interested in trying this out! Now I've got to go watch your playthrough of Darwin's Journey...
You guys never explained what the beagle token does, so that was frustrating to follow until it was apparent that it decides which tiles you may consider to pick
I have a question to the scoring. It seems like for the theory points, you are not counting tiles that cannot be seen. But I thought that this rule only applies to those tiles that have an eye on them -- for the others, we also cound those that lie below other tiles. So you can actually get more than 4 points by collecting animals from the Americas, for example. Am I incorrect?

Sorry We Are French is the best name for a publisher I’ve ever heard. Bravo!
Same reaction when we first heard the name lol.

Thank you so much!

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for hanging out with us!
This game is gorgeous but a bit too light. I wish each tile did more. I love Tableau games and nature themes
Check out Wingspan?
Thank you for this complete video! 🎉

It definitely end 3 rounds too quick some times.

I find this game super cute. I wish it was a little bit longer, but still very enjoyable.
GG guys :)
Great video!!! Love the production of the game! It gave me some Village Rails vibes... what do you guys think?
Hi guys! Will you be doing a playthrough for Darwin's Journey too?
I enjoyed the playthrough, but fee the game is too simple and the turns are too samey for my taste. Thanks for helping me decide!
