Then I found a listing for a property for Canadian $ 4,714,923.00 , thats $538 million Jamaican. The Property has a name on the gate " Fieldstone " and the pictures from the real estate listing are incredible. A true estate for a Lord. From what I could read, a lot of Jamaicans have earned overseas and return to build their dream homes. Is that the case. I am 67 and I used to come to Mandeville in the 70's, 80's on business for Alcan aluminum. Those were tough times. And the area looked nothing like this. The pot holes were much worse.
They need to have a community association and monthly fees and use it for different projects in they're community, in which they can fix their own roads.
People need to protect their investments!!! These homeowners can change their communities to a gated community. Fix their roads...don't wait for the government to fix it...even if it is the government's responsibility. Place look too nice fi have roads like dat. Get to know the member of parliament for that community. Work him or her....

The houses & roads shown in this video reminded me of my parents Tower Isle, St. Mary address, (the residents in the area couldn't agree to pay to repair the roads): I am currently at 3 score years 'not old'! (lol), currently in M/cr, England! (Smile). Please feel no pressure to reply.
I remember years gone by when all the roads in Mandeville as they say was barber green...not a pothole...it hurt my heart to see the road condition like that...taxes for homes are paid every year...the government can pick an area every year and do some road works...the community can form an association where they meet and dues are collected to fix the road...where asphalt repairs are needed it get done on a timely basic to avoid those potholes getting bigger.
@@cislynbarrett4131 I lived in Mandeville for a few years and hands down they had the best roads through and through..even less traverse roads were beautifully paved...I was so disappointed seeing those roads...Fire Reid did an excellent job showing the houses...the homeowners have to come together and see what can be done because the government is not helping as far as I can see.
@@FireReid yes very bad...the homeowners have to get together and organize a fund raising event and use the funds gather to do asphalt repairs because a home without proper road access will depreciate in value don't care how big the houses are.

I am from the Noth Coast and in my area the roads are just the same. We need to hold these politicians accountable for their actions. They lined their pockets while we suffer and time after time we go out and vote for them.
Be careful people are at risk with these criminals I would not show homes close up. Right now people are even blurring their homes on google maps. They are too wicked and evil in Jamaica and bad mind.
You should point the camera 📷in different directions instead of just pointing it on those horrible roads and those unkempt front gardens and speak a bit faster : livened it up a bit when you speak.
