im running this on the same proc but with a 1080ti instead of a 1080, and 1440p is the way to go. I put everything on ultra with the hd texture pack and it runs great.
How do you think i'll run it with a 1080 and a i7-9700k on 1440p? I've heard it's quite well optimized unlike most Ubisoft games but i'm aware of the fact that my GPU is a bit outdated for 1440p gaming and i really want to know if 60fps with high-ultra settings are reachable.

Dude there is something wrong with your PC - I mean I run it on GTX1080 (ocd) @ 2560x1440 on i7-10700K with 32Gb ram @ 3600Mhz installed on Samsung v-nand 980 PRO 1TB with graphical settings mix of high/ultra and I get 70-90 fps. Hey man ! you should probably get your pc checked out, your temps are pretty worrying to me. Your cpu should not be as hot as your gpu, and your gpu is reaching a pretty hot point, I suggest getting it checked out man.
@@regulargamer4974 Ah ok ! suggest to put in some more cooling as your next upgrade then ma man ! it will wear and tear that quickly if your not careful.

is the same setup for battlefield 2042?

What about Fsr super quality+ ultra settings?
@Salt Maker why i didnt see big difference between native AMD super quality but performance boost is huge
The game appears to be pretty much completely CPU bottlenecked with this setup so you're probably not gonna get anything out of FSR.

Why don't you have FSR on?
late answer but thats cause the game looks ugly with fsr
