  • We review the Triumph T120 Ace Special Edition Black motorcycle in 2021!
This modern classic motorbike has the high torque engine, a dedicated chassis and suspension setup, and tons of power!
We put it through its paces and give you the run down. Engine, gears, suspension, handling, specs, rake & trail, power & torque, brakes and more!
Just how good is it? Is it the bike for you? How does it ride and handle? What does the exhaust sound like? We find out.
This limited edition of 1400 bikes is a real head turner!
We ride it in the snow and ice and find a few dry roads to give it some welly!
The Ol' Man is wearing a Premier Trophy helmet in this video: www.premier.it/en/vintage-col...
To iron out the snatchy throttle you can get a Booster Plug. See this great video by Aruj Singla • Triumph Bonneville T12...

Looks like a fun bike. You guys make the best real world bike reviews! I appreciate the work you put into it. Very well done. No ego montage to show how you know all sorts of crap that has nothing to do with the experience of the ride. All useful information. Very well done. A great balance of information and sensation.

Guys.. I've just sold my Indian scout and have bought a new T120 Black model.. Always thought it was too small as I'm the same height as The Ol' man but after watching yr video it persuaded me to try one out and it's a perfect fit! To others I probably look too big for it but that doesn't bother me, I'm always going to look big on most bikes.. So thanks guys 👍

I really like that you showcase the size of the bike in relation to your height in your videos, there aren't a lot of dealers near where I live so nice to have sort of a ballpark estimate on how it looks and feels when considering different bikes I might want to try out later or eventually buy.

Another great review! You have hit on a good formula with your tests, just the right amount of "chat" and footage of the bike in motion. I switch off other reviewers channels when all you get is a view of the clocks , looking at the road (through a screen if fitted) ahead and the reviewer shouting unintelligibly over wind/road and engine noise. Keep it up!

Awesome review, again an honest review, thumbs up for the revelation 😂 it happens when you didn’t measure for long time 😂, anyway one of the best bike review channel, most of the channel only focus on specs which mostly we can get from google, but to have a channel actually mention how it would looks on tall guys like us on every bike, you are the first and how the bike maneuver from a tall rider perspective, most of the bikes looks good on shorter rider as long as the bike is bigger than the rider, but it’s not easy for tall riders nowadays, well a bike has to look cool when riding right? 😎 Can’t wait for the next one R18, Looking forward on the triumph launch as well! Keep up the good work guys!

Good review of a great bike. I have the T120 since Sept. 2016 and have put on progressive springs and Hagon shocks for a more secure feeling handling. I decated with a Motone x-pipe and put on BC Predator pipes for the sound, freer flow and to access the chain adjusters. I love the bike more than ever, but I have run into a big problem. Being on house arrest due to the pandemic and winter, I've been spending a lot of time watching bike reviews on TH-cam and want a whole lot of new bikes. But when I compare them to what I have in the T120, most come up short or not enough difference to be worth the cost of changing. I really want a new bike, but the one I've already got is too good. First world problems suck.

Hey, you got one! Nice job, Gents!
I was anxious to hear what you guys thought of it in a general sense but, more specifically, with the size of it. I am about the same size/build as you guys at 6’1”/250#/34” inseam and on more than one occasion I’ve had people ask me if I thought it was big enough and it made me ask myself the question.
To me, yeah, it’s big enough for the purpose that I have it which is to take off for a solo day ride or for my wife to hop on the back for an evening around town and to a pub. It doesn’t tick every box but truthfully, I don’t know of any bike for any rider that does tick every box.
At any rate, regardless of size/stature, I think it is one of the finest classic bikes to just ride for the fun of riding. As a kid from the 70’s, this motor and design speak to me. It’s not my only bike but it is a special one.

Great Review of a Terrific Bike! Happy that you got Access to The Bike!
I have Both the T120 Ace & I just Picked up the 2015 Thruxton Ace!! Couldn’t be Happier w/ this Line. However, the T120 is Loads More “Rideable” & Especially if going any Distance. The Thruxton is a Gentleman’s Bike 🙂. I’d call the T120 a Modern Classic & the Thruxton an Old-School Cafe Racer.
These are Great additions to the Harleys for anyone just Looking to Scoot around Town.
By the way I have been accumulating parts for the T120; Getting ready to Decat and add the X-pipe. Also going w/ the Predator Pro (shorty) Exhaust. Full Ohlins & Brembos. Waiting on replacement lights so I can Tidy that Abomination of a Tail. Can’t wait to get it Finished.

thanks ,,, very brave doing a test in that cold... the bike seems to fit you both,, what makes it seem small is the steep steering angle you go on about == making the bike look short .. problem is choice=== the speed twin is more power for similar money but you would have to fit your own or option heated grips,, = the 1200 motor does sound nice in all your vids //// but harley??? perhaps have both.

I'm a T100 owner and have ridden the Speed Twin, and the difference in riding position is quite marked between the two. If you are tossing up between Bonneville and Speed Twin, particularly if you're getting a little older and creakier, it's definitely worth a longer test ride as I found the Speedy to be extremely uncomfortable over any kind of distance. The Bonneville is just right for me.

@Trevor_Austin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I can only speak for the Bonneville T120 as I have one. The riding position is comfortable. The pegs are lowish and are roughly in line with the front of your chest. Combine this with the positioning of the handlebars and it means you have a slightly leant forward position making driving at normal speeds very pleasant and untiring. I’m just over 5’10”.

    • @Lar308
      @Lar308 ปีที่แล้ว

I owned a T120 for 5 years along with a Thruxton R and a BMW S1000RR and a Panigale. A T120 would be the most comfortable for cruising around. It does not like being hustled too much on twisty roads. I would say you sit bolt upright on a T120 - a disadvantage if you want to do high speed motorway cruising due to wind. Thruxton R or RS is probably your best bet - you lean slightly more forward and the bike is much better dynamically than a T120. Obviously the sports bikes are a lot more extreme and a lot more fun but even on those you get used to the riding position after a while and think nothing of it. Don't rule out a Ducati monster (latest version) either - these have a pretty comfortable riding position and are light to move around and great fun.
