For those trying it on the original PS2 with the original game, this is not working for me. I just keep failing the mission because I destroyed my car.
it does work, blow yourself up at the finish line, wait for the cutscene, DO NOT SKIP IT, wait for the "Do you want to continue from the next checkpoint?" message, press "No" and wait for the next cutscene and skip it.
I've already completed it without using any tricks, and I'm currently on the "Farewell, My Love" mission. I've been stuck on it for an hour and it's frustrating. Do you know any speedrun techniques or tricks to complete it faster?
No, there are no "tricks" at the moment. Speedrunners do FML normally, just try to take as much shortcuts as possible at the start, I recommend watching some marathon runs too.
