Actually it is not a problem with tuning to sruthi. Apparently the recording was done from the speaker. In such cases a lot of audio disturbance happens. Unnikrishnan is a great contemporary singer with higher sruthi. Voice should be captured directly from the mixer with cable. There might have been difficulties to do so looking at the set up where this was recorded.
