- In late 2022, Zoukei-Mura and Meng released new tool F-4G Wild Weasels right on top of each other.
This series will take a comparative look at both kits, with the ultimate goal, by the end, to come to a verdict of which one to go with if you're only pursuing one Wild Weasel.
First up - the kit ejection seats. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
FYI, the hole in the seat cushion is for viewing the O2 gauge in the RSSK seat pan/survival kit.
Coming from a guy who used to work on them. Good video 👍🏻
It is always interesting, in this Case the Seats. There is the original one , then you have 10 Manufacturers, and each one looks different...
I was so exhausted from your last video, that I had to take a seat.😊 Actually I like your critique of parts for models, very helpful.👍
Super interesting, looking forward to the next Weasel-Off.
I think you need to check how the seat fits into the cockpit. The aftermarket seat in your video looks slightly wider in the base than the ZM one. I Got caught putting an aftermarket seat (sorry can’t remember the brand but it might have been Hypersonic) into Tamiya’s F-4B only to find I needed to sand all the lovely detail off the lower sides so it would fit between the consoles. Not a big deal as you can’t see that anyway. I have had other kits where the aftermarket seat is too tall and the canopy wouldn’t fit so I always check now.
had these issues... think it was with a tomcat a while ago - and do the same as you.
lol - I thought it was just me who starts calling something by the wrong name and then continues to do that until the next 'coffee break'!!
Nice.
Great video!
Have you try to fit the MCC's ejection seat into the Meng's F-4G cockpit tub? Does it fit, or it has to be trimmed?
It's a bit wide. It can fit but you've got to take out side detail on the bottom half of the seat to get it in.
What about da cans ?
previous video.
