Is there anything these trucks can't do? I'd love to see a crane version as the space between the two cabs was perfectly built to support a crane boom (without having it stowed ridiculously low to the ground while in transit).🤣😂😆😁😎🤫🤔🤐 I love how Russians/Soviets and people of Asia designed vehicles to support more than one use. So if "war" ever slows.........cranes, fire trucks, construction vehicles can also exist off of the same chassis. I'd love to see a Pion 2S7 mounted on the back of one of these as well.

As you see, crane can lift only 25 t which is ridiculous (Liebherr 1025 2-axle cranes can do it). 543 chassis was developed for offroad transportation of missile and launching it off the special platform. Even for semitrailers it had to be significantly modified to hold the load. 543 is war beast for sure. Its civil use was due to lack of specialized heavy tow trucks (like imported Faun).

Well, there is a fire engine version AA-60/70 (index means automobile airfield cistern), designed especially for the airports and other large objects, and I think most of them are still in service, cause their mileage is pretty small and they are not worn out all. There are some videos on TH-cam about those firetrucks, too.

Scud missile I guess. It was an improved and heavy modifited version of the German V-2 ballistic missile you know. The Russian army no longer uses them. The only thing I know about the vehicle is; it's a transporter erector launcher (TEL) but it looks awesome too. You can correct me if I'm wrong.
The 9P120 launcher of the Soviet Temp-S OTRK was with a solid-propellant rocket.
