I did a lot of tests with multiple rods, I have a personal collection of all rods and I use them to test. In the case of Light lion, magic to boss, DEX+ and Sb+% would make it a good rod. Sadly is not one of the bests in terms of damage. The formula of the Imperial ray depends on your mATK/HIT/spell burst%/magic to boss%. Feel free to use any rod that increase any of those stats for your particular needs. For light lion the magic to boss contribution is not as good as the raw matk of other rods. Other rods with higher magic to boss+% like anniversary Saven rod II are pretty good too.
May i ask, does imp zero based on neutral magic? If yes why theres no one using spell book? I still looking for best rod for my hw, i do have cmoon 2s, but after i compare it to univ3, univ win i still not try fruru yet since it has +1 cd skill also my agi under 400 atm
@@dprian8744Imperial Zero Is based on neutral magic but the contribution to the formula Is low compared with raw MATK. This means that the most matk, the better. To put things simple, the neutral family of rods (Spell book, Condense, Eye of deception) are weaker than the rods i tested in this video Univ3 clean wins vs Cmoon clean. However, Cmoon 2s with 2 Sauro II xtall wins by a lot against Univ3 with one Sauro II Keep filling AGI, remember that even if you don't use Fruru, AGI build Is still the BEST since magic amp, granita and high eva are an amazing combo.

Any elemental great magic skill is around 200-450k damage, so 105% of 200k is 210k. And Ice spear deals lower damage, even in a video will be hard to spot the difference.
Cmoon 2s 2 sau2 is better than any 1s rod with a Sau2. This is because Sau2 is too OP. If u compare only the power of rods (without taking into account the crystals attached) then Uni>Fruru>Cmoon

What is universe calculation on matk up by lvl? Is it 1 lvl = 1 matk ?
and what about Light Lion? please do some damage test, it isn't just matk alone that makes up for the total dmg
