  • When the ancient Hebrews looked up at the night sky, they not only saw a canopy of twinkling heavenly bodies, but they also believed they were looking directly at the floor of God's Throne Room!
Yahweh was their triumphant deity who battled terrifying sea monsters at the beginning of time. Emerging victorious, he mounted his throne located right on top of the "firmament", a biblical term we generally equate with "sky", yet its actual meaning is much more nuanced. It comes with an entire mythos of its own.
This and similar curious concepts you'll find all throughout this video give us an idea about how the cosmology of that time vastly differed from ours, a time when the line between cosmology and mythology was blurred.
In this video we explore the fascinating world of the ancient biblical cosmos, this snowglobe-like structure, along with its own desolate underworld, its planets, astronomy, and the Seven Heavens spread out majestically above it.
This journey will leave you fascinated :)

The sea, the abyss, the underworld, the cosmos, chaos represent UNCONSCIOUSNESS. When you "walk on water" You are rising above from unconscious to conscious. To become conscious you need to be true, to allow the light of the knowledge in. Beautiful 👌 i love that its narrated with visuals
