My fiancée bought one for 12k SEK (about 1k pounds) yesterday, same price as the cheapest 1.0 liters over here. We are so happy with that deal lol, it's pretty much mint aswell. Seems to be a great first car- nimble, punchy, great visibility and nice short throw shifter etc
Golden car... I’ve got 05’ Yaris P1 too and although it’s 1.0, I’m so satisfied with it!! I bought it last year for 30 000 CZK, which is 1000£ and currently I have 36 000 km with the car. Yeah, I had to fix some minor issues, like old brakes, bearing of the wheel and exhaust, but the engine is still in perfect condition after 14 years. Well, what else to say - he’s a great buddy wherever you want to go...

@@raiyyanproductionsHD depends what turbo set up you go for. You can get a Vitz RS Turbo setup (Japanese Yaris) which will be the cheapest option (approx £1k) and I'm not sure about a dump valve. My exhaust was already on the car when I got it
Should I take the ignis sport into account because they seem to have the same engine layout, and specs including mpg tax etc they both come to the same insurance price too, I'm 17 in december so it will be a first car
The Yaris and Ignis are competitors. They are both good cars and cheap running costs. I've never personally had an Ignis but I've wanted one. The Ignis is a little faster too with 115bhp. Personally, I would say take a look at both and see what you think. Mods are pretty hard to get for both of them though but from my understanding, the Yaris is more modifyable than the Iggy (visually anyway)
@@ZGVlogs thanks for replying I understand it will be quite hard to pull more power out a NA car, slot of the aftermarket parts for both do come from overseas as I've seen lower level spoilers for yaris's from japan etc, both cars will definitely be my main choices.
@@gapperoni_pizza2266 fair play, I'm glad I could help. If you get either one, focus on the handling. You probably can't pull more power out the engines (Yaris' is almost a definate no no unless you spend big dollar)

2.5k for the car and 2k insurance + 1k on everything else probably brings the total too almost £6000 for me eek

No, engine is untubable unless you get a turbo or supercharger set up

What insurance company did you go with to get that insurance quote w black box, cuz when I go on comparison sites etc the insurance is like 1900+
