It's always so fun seeing what people choose for their favorite rare pairs. Sometimes they're ships that really ought to be more common, sometimes they're incredibly obscure without knowing the context, and sometimes they're things I never thought of but can instantly see the vision. This map's got a lot of the latter. Like Leafpool x Sol? I can see what they're doing there, and I'm liking it. Half the ships in this map are that, and it's helped by how absolutely adorable all these parts are. The artists did a fantastic job! Special shoutout to the Mapleshade x Myler, best Maple ship, Myler best boy.
the dude who did the Leaf x Sol part here, I originally just thought “what if I ship them lol” because they’re my two favorite characters but then it was like “pretty atheist rouge man tells pretty doctor who is harassed by her gods that her religion is unfair and she should do what makes her happy instead,,,, and maybe Mothwing can join in as well”
i actually have a fanfic i made of my rare shipping pairs living happily in thunderclan and mapleshade and myler were one! i think i even added them having kits together and maple naming one after patchkit. i think i’ll have to reread it soon and check out the ships i did!:)

The extreme amount of excitement I felt when I saw that Crowfeather x Squirrelflight is in this is probably concerning lmao They've been a really really big comfort ship for me ever since I first read the 2nd arc and I'm currently in the middle of a slight obsession (again...) and seeing them in this map made me genuinly SO HAPPY AAAA I love it!!
I had tears in my eyes when i saw th Alderheart x Needletail part. I always shipped them, and i really wish it was canon, even though it's confirmmed that Alderheart id have feelings for Needletail, i feel like they both left so much unsaid.
Honestly!! I shipped them so much during the journey! (The only reason I liked reading the Midnight Arc) I don't really understand the hype with crow and leafpool, I don't think they had any contact aside from crow saving her from the cliff and him being escorted out of thunderclan by leafpool, I think?
I dunno why, but I'm now loving the NightCloud x MapleShade dynamic in this map. I had my own unpopular opinion of Mapleshade ships... One being more of an chatoic emotional support like an opposite side spectrum for SpottedLeaf or one with maple and ashfur. While mainly not to into it romantically, but they'd at least get along well... Hell, I'm shocked they didn't get book-time together with how relatable they are.
I know I already commented on this but I keep coming back because I love this map sm ❤️ love the creativity and just letting crackships be cute and run wild, we need more stuff like this

I love this! I've made content on one or more of these ships when I was in the Warriors fandom. I like seeing people do things with some of the lesser-known and rare ships in the fandom. I especially like seeing what reasons people have to ship different characters. My only suggestion would to be to write the ships themselves somewhere on the bottom of the screen (like near where the usernames are) so lazy people like me don't have to scroll XD Good, good work! I haven't commented on something in this fandom in a while but this was truly impressive.

ik its a lil off topic but lately i saw someone shipping Runningnose w Featherwhisker and i was concerned... i mean, that was weird, but i could see it. i searched if this ship even exists and thats how i found this map... tbh its really good and the ships are interesting!
Awwwwwwww! I used to have a SpottedLong AU as a result of a challenge where I had to pick two Warriors characters by rolling the dice and write a developed love story with the characters I assigned to the numbers on the dice (I don't think I gave it an ending though?). Personally I prefer SpottedMouse, but this ship has some special place in my heart. However, I think they were related, but PatchRobin makes no sense whatsoever and it's like, one of the most ridiculous pre-TPB pairings revealed by the authors.
It's the cat who lives on the barn where mapleshade died, he helped her recover, i believe, after the day her kits died and she was exiled from riverclan
people shouldn't hate on anyone's art! And there's no need to feel scared, everyone has their own style and experience/journey with their art, and no one should hate someone's artistic liberties & choices! I mean, I never got hate (yet) for my own art, so it really isn't scary to showcase your stuff! And a map always features multiple artists/animators! :>

Mapleshade x frecklewish (more one sided with freckle liking maple and then maple releases she loves her right as the snake strikes and sneaks in to lay with her while she dies) Mapleshade x reedshine (one sided again with maple liking reed but being a what I call forced straight so she thinks she hates her) Reedshine x frecklewish (this is an auto I have where freckle doesn't die and reed and freckle bond after the trauma of maple)
This is a very pretty map, and everyone did very well, but wasn’t Leafstar leader, like, moons before Squirrelflight was even born? And Leafpool was even named after Leafstar. I mean, they are both consenting adults, but the age gap, along with the fact that Leafpool was even named after Leafstar makes me feel a lil icky. Sorry, I’m not trying to cause drama, I just wanted to point that out to hopefully gain some clarity, wtwtgsdf /nm /gen /neu I was also about to point out Deadfoot and Tallstar, but it seems many people have already spoken up about it, and I don’t want to frustrate you with even more bombarding about that ship.
I haven't yet read many skyclan books or Firestar's quest so I'm honestly really unfamiliar with the age gaps; you should probably ask the person who had that part since I'm definitely not of help x3 ,, the most important thing for me is that they're consenting adults! As for the elephant in the room, yeah, dead x tall is a really bad ship and I wish I knew about them before. I learned from my mistake of letting it slide in the map, next time I'm definitely gonna be doing much more research. Thank you for properly adressing the issue, I'm actually glad people were kind and aware enough to help me point out how problematic it is!! ;0;
They're both consenting adults who met as adults, Squirrelflight also has no canon knowledge of knowing her sister is named after her and Skyclan as a whole was a surprise, they hardly even interact until Squirrelflights super edition where they're trapped by the sisters, they're both basically the equivalent of middle aged adults
I don't stand with some of the ships but who care! I love it! (A ship I hate is fire-heart and tiger-star ( sorry if ya like that ship ) but I don't think that’s in there

I love Minnowtail x Hazeltail! It's basically the fun alternative of "what if I steal my brother's girlfriend" from Hazeltail's perspective! Love it!

Awwwwwwww! I used to have a SpottedLong AU as a result of a challenge where I had to pick two Warriors characters by rolling the dice and write a developed love story with the characters I assigned to the numbers on the dice (I don't think I gave it an ending though?). Personally I prefer SpottedMouse, but this ship has some special place in my heart. However, I think they were related, but PatchRobin makes no sense whatsoever and it's like, one of the most ridiculous pre-TPB pairings revealed by the authors.

It's the cat who lives on the barn where mapleshade died, he helped her recover, i believe, after the day her kits died and she was exiled from riverclan

people shouldn't hate on anyone's art! And there's no need to feel scared, everyone has their own style and experience/journey with their art, and no one should hate someone's artistic liberties & choices!
I mean, I never got hate (yet) for my own art, so it really isn't scary to showcase your stuff! And a map always features multiple artists/animators! :>

This is a very pretty map, and everyone did very well, but wasn’t Leafstar leader, like, moons before Squirrelflight was even born? And Leafpool was even named after Leafstar. I mean, they are both consenting adults, but the age gap, along with the fact that Leafpool was even named after Leafstar makes me feel a lil icky. Sorry, I’m not trying to cause drama, I just wanted to point that out to hopefully gain some clarity, wtwtgsdf /nm /gen /neu
I was also about to point out Deadfoot and Tallstar, but it seems many people have already spoken up about it, and I don’t want to frustrate you with even more bombarding about that ship.
I haven't yet read many skyclan books or Firestar's quest so I'm honestly really unfamiliar with the age gaps; you should probably ask the person who had that part since I'm definitely not of help x3 ,, the most important thing for me is that they're consenting adults!
As for the elephant in the room, yeah, dead x tall is a really bad ship and I wish I knew about them before. I learned from my mistake of letting it slide in the map, next time I'm definitely gonna be doing much more research. Thank you for properly adressing the issue, I'm actually glad people were kind and aware enough to help me point out how problematic it is!! ;0;
They're both consenting adults who met as adults, Squirrelflight also has no canon knowledge of knowing her sister is named after her and Skyclan as a whole was a surprise, they hardly even interact until Squirrelflights super edition where they're trapped by the sisters, they're both basically the equivalent of middle aged adults
I love the color pallets and art I just wish some of these pairs weren’t as toxic or closely related😭
Actually none of them are toxic because all are AUs. And I'm also sure that none of them are closely related!
