A server I was active on had a bot go down, and people starting breaking rules, and there was a purge and I got banned for months without doing anything.
Once had a friend get banned from a discord server for typing a message in all caps. Didn't say anything weird, the caps just prompted a poorly coded bot to autoban him. To this day people on that server cower in ceaseless fear of the unexpected wrath of the bot that the mods refuse to get rid of.
I wasnt banned for a weird reason but once i was muted for 'flirting' with someone- I wasnt flirting with them- I was complimenting them on their singing
I was a mod that was muted then banned for suggesting the head mod take a class in interpersonal communication and anger management for getting upset over someone using pacific when they meant to use specific.
Honestly, having a totally separate channel for commenting on art is pretty stupid to me. Just put all art related stuff in one channel. Having to move to ANOTHER channel just to say something about someone's art is unnecessary extra work.

Like if I'm struggling and really need help, I don't need people telling me what I'm going through is fake and completely invalidated. Once, an owner of a server DMed me for an inappropriate status, which I didn't even find to be that bad, so I left the community. The backstory for that was I was watching cartoons, and when something funny happened I would quote them into a bio. The one they found inappropriate was, "If you are what you eat, I could be you by morning". It wasn't violently worded (as they put it), and it's literally a funny joke on cartoon network where you can impersonate and become a clone of someone if you ate them, and knowing how cartoons are, they probably meant it in the way Kirby would do it. I even quoted that it was from the Adventures of Billy and Mandy in the bio.

Another admin got mad and told the owner to ban me even after I explained what happened. My friend unbanned me, so I replied to the other guy's ban request with "wtf", so I got muted for staff harassment. I'm still muted because my friend is too scared to unmute me.

I DIDN'T. and the admin i got demoted by was the admin that NEVER consulted with the staff team, CONSTANTLY pinged everyone, was NEVER active (putting all the weight on the other admin who later quit both administrating the server and discord). and plus, the moderators there were fine. we were all fine and did our jobs correctly, it was just that one dumbass admin. in all technicality, he was actually the owner but was marked as an admin because the server wasn't for him (it was for a youtuber. i won't say who though). still, that doesn't mean you can do this shit. sorry for the ramble, i just wanted to share haha

I was in a server where there was a specific channel to talk abt things like racism, sexism, etc. They were having a conversation about racism in the general channel so I kindly suggested to them moving it into the correct channel. I got called 'racist' and later banned.

So basically, the first strike that I got was because I sending a "real image" of someone else in art, even though it's not a real image, infact it was a drawing, Low Poly art of my friend that I made. And what makes it even dumb is that i saw a sketch of real people, father and daughter, that was sent by another member but they're artwork didn't even get deleted by the mods
I was banned for making an alt account. The Discord Server is one of my favorite. It was like my family. I love to help those who needs help. When I help I see they improve on their skill. I see they go up through the ranks better then me. It makes me so happy. It was suppose to be a happy ending for me, but whatever reason. When time go by over a month. More and more new members join the server asking others for help beside me. I say "How dare they ask for them for help beside me." I said that subconsciously. When I realized what I have in my toxic mindset. Looking for someone to rely on me. I want to help other. So I did. But I keep getting jealous even though they are kind to me. I hate it I feel so jealous. I feel so dumb, I feel so toxic. I went so far to act like a different person in an alt account and mention who is KJ(which is me). I see everyone say they love me. It broke me. When my alt account was banned and my main was banned as well. The mods knows me. I do know they have a hard time banning me as I did nothing wrong beside making an alt account which was against the rule. I’m actually thankful I was banned. This give me enough courage to quit that toxic mindset. The mod saved me. I wish they have a better life then me. If you read the whole thing. Thank you.

I was once banned from the markiplier discord for saying a joke about my dad leaving. Everyone said Oof, or lmao, etc.. Except one dude, he just said "Dude Stop" (I only made one joke) I said "Stop what" cause I didn't do anything that bad. "He said seriously stop or I'm getting the mods." I said "ok, I didn't do anything" and everyone else was like "Yea dude, he didn't do anything, chill" and then a mod came, and banned me.
I got to talk with the mod later and he just said "You can't joke about that type of stuff" (even though markiplier does but ok) and "Yea plus you didn't stop when he asked you to" (even though I did but ok)
The only time I've been banned and for the stupidest reason.

I once got banned in a server after 3 strikes, but in reality I only have 2 strikes. So basically, the first strike that I got was because I sending a "real image" of someone else in art, even though it's not a real image, infact it was a drawing, Low Poly art of my friend that I made. And what makes it even dumb is that i saw a sketch of real people, father and daughter, that was sent by another member but they're artwork didn't even get deleted by the mods

I was banned for making an alt account. The Discord Server is one of my favorite. It was like my family. I love to help those who needs help. When I help I see they improve on their skill. I see they go up through the ranks better then me. It makes me so happy. It was suppose to be a happy ending for me, but whatever reason. When time go by over a month. More and more new members join the server asking others for help beside me. I say "How dare they ask for them for help beside me." I said that subconsciously. When I realized what I have in my toxic mindset. Looking for someone to rely on me. I want to help other. So I did. But I keep getting jealous even though they are kind to me. I hate it I feel so jealous. I feel so dumb, I feel so toxic. I went so far to act like a different person in an alt account and mention who is KJ(which is me). I see everyone say they love me. It broke me. When my alt account was banned and my main was banned as well. The mods knows me. I do know they have a hard time banning me as I did nothing wrong beside making an alt account which was against the rule. I’m actually thankful I was banned. This give me enough courage to quit that toxic mindset. The mod saved me. I wish they have a better life then me. If you read the whole thing. Thank you.
