    Excellent, I hadn't heard that for many years! Lord Snooty and his Pals (cartoon characters from The Beano comic) tap dancing and Val Doonican (Irish singer, had his own TV programme, famed for his rocking chair woolly jumpers) as himself "Hello there" always made me laugh.
    I saw Roger Ruskin Spear from the band playing in a local pub - he had a special "Fuzz guitar" with three necks ... just one string on each neck.

      Was the band "Tatty Ollity"? I used to see them regularly in the 70s in The Cartoon in Croydon.

      @@Macilmoyle Sam Spoons definitely rings a bell. I think I saw them twice ... so long ago, all I remember is they were very entertaining.
