This man doesn't know it, but he was Japanese in his most recent past life. He just went back home. He is a rare kind of honest Ghanaman.

Honesty, humility, and integrity are the values that define a man. It's unfortunate that most of us as Ghanaians lack these values.

I truly wish Ghanaians will listen to this man. He’s definitely very different from the typical Ghanaian. I’m so glad he found a true woman and I’m glad her family finally were able to understand and I’m so happy to hear of their progress. May God continue to trust their union

Nice interview, its good u are doing well. I am happy for you, God continue to bless you. I have this advise for you, please avoid giving or introducing your wife's sister to another foreigner(gaijin), it will bring you 'wahala' in your marriage. I know you love your wife, you are one of the luckiest like mensvic, erata, tomreik etc but pls trend cautiously dealing with Japanese women, they can change anytime like the weather. There's racist in Japan, maybe u haven't experienced it yet, eg: most landlords will not give their house out to a foreigner(gaijin), on the train, nobody want to sit near to you, less than 5% of interracial marriage btw Japanese & foreigners are accepted by families, most don't accept interracial marriages, they only accept after kid's(hafu) comes in. Japan is not foreigners friendly even though there's workforce shortage, they prefer Asians to Africans. Japan has high divorce and suicides than any country in the world upon their country been the best in Asia. Most Japanese women prefer to divorce and become single parents to receive money from government monthly and work secretly at nights work. Getting a Japanese passport as a foreigner is tough compared to Europe and America. One of the requirement is to take a Japanese name b4 u are approved for the passport. Dating Japanese lady is sweet compared to marriage with them, cultural differences is part of the problem. Halfcast as we call kid's born by 'obroni'(Japanese) N Ghanaian is called 'hafu' in japan, most do have a lot of difficulties to be accepted by their mates, Okinawa is more like America due to the base so it might be different from mainland Japan. Japan has one of the worst prison correctional systems, when a person is arrested depending on the case, you can be kept for 21 days without contact with anyone or anyone knowing where you are. People in imprisonment can't do calls to outside, letters are accepted but your reply will be kept for two weeks or more, opened, read b4 given to you. Problems with Immigration too is another story I don't want to go there. Dancing in clubs and bars are not acceptable by law in Japan but people do it by the way. The $5K USD or ¥500K JPY given to u by your wife's mother is a norm with Japanese parents as a life starter, its similar to what they give to kids in envelope on 1st January.
This are few red-flags but it's a nice country though. If you are married with kid's, with a serious fiancee or in a relationship then Usa, Canada, Australia or Europe will be better thinking of your nuclear family but if you are single with energy for work and you love Japanese culture then u can give Japan a try. I'm just being real, no hating. Sorry for the long essay writing
