- Sa kanyang boses nagpatuloy ang pamamayagpag ng American rock band na "Journey" na nagpasikat ng "Don't Stop Believing," "Faithfully" at "Open Arms." Usap-usapan ang kanyang docu na "Don't Stop Believin': Every Man's Journey" at muling sasabak sa world tour kabilang dito sa Pilipinas.
Arnel is not only an excellent singer but he has brains.Good diction,soothing voice.Count me as your fan!

i think he said before in an interview, the long hair was part of the contract, after the contract expires he can cut his hair already. which is what he did.

ARNEL PINEDA is a man of substance...not only coined to women as it's always referred to, but to a great man, too. He has a pure heart, rich in humility, hope and strong determination to go for his dreams. He is an inspiration to all of us. His life story is a testament that thru hard work, love for yourself to improve and strong desire to overcome challenges, a person's misfortunes in life (suffered at a very young age) won't be a hindrance to achieve success. ARNEL was discovered and soon became the lead vocalist of the Journey band. From humble beginnings as a local rock singer, he is recognized as a member of this legendary American band and played an important role in Journey's comeback from hiatus. Sorry thats the way we talk here in Philippines, specially if we talk to same filipinos,
But if we knew the one in front of us were foreigner we must to talk in english fluently.
It's called Taglish...coined word meaning "Tagalog" ( most common dialect, or" Pilipino/Tagalog"...Philippines' national language)..
Mostly spoken in a Filipino household, Filipino media, TV/Radio,and whenever old Filipino migrants all over the world speak to the younger generation...out of convenience...for ease of use...still maintaining the culture ...to.connect ..to all levels of Filipino society...because even up to this day...you do not want to isolate or disenfranchise anyone one the Philippines or in any part of the world who may not have that opportunity to have familiarity with the rich English as it is most often our Second language....no disrespect but not all English words have a Tagalog equivalent...and sometimes when we converse specially to members of our family...or people from our country we call"kababayan"...we relax and use whatever makes us feel at ease...in our culture ...we treat each one as part of our family....when you go out of your country...and suddenly you hear someone speaking your language...it brings a familiar feeling...a warm place like home.There is pride in knowing ..there is someone here like family...and somehow ease your loneliness and isolation.
That's a filipino show in the Philippines and it caters for filipino audience. In the Philippines, filipinos speak a combination of tagalog and english because both are being taught in school and we applied both languages in our everyday life. We tried to speak english as good as possible but if we could no longer grasp the right word/s to express in english we shift to tagalog to carry out the conversation. Tagalog is our native tongue and english is a borrowed language (2nd language). English was incorporated in our educational system during the time of American regime in the Philippines and because of that we are indebted to Americans because we became bilingual. Knowing how to speak and understand our 2nd language is a big advantage to the filipinos to compete globally.
