    That turned out great! I know where one of those nuts went! I love the way they take threads and finish. Sold it at the Folk Festival! Thanks for sharing and the explaining!
    Take care, Dave

    I love this little pot and lid. I’d actually like one to put my earrings in on my dressing table. I hope you make more with finials. 😉

    Great work as always, Sam. I always learn a lot from you. Just a note on "spigot". The term is used wherever chucks are sold by British Commonwealth countries, such as the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Americans call those things "tenons" whether or not they are later removed.

    • @WYOMINGWOODTURNER
      @WYOMINGWOODTURNER  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I read a definition that goes like this: a spigot is temporary for fixing a blank on to a chuck. A tenon is part of a joint (mortise and tenon) that is glued together and left in the wood. I agree that the term spigot is used in Britain more than the US. Sam

    Sam, a nice project with your usual excellent teaching points. Could you give a link for the Ackley's grit and paste? I "binged" it and got no results. Thanks.

    that is really nice, but what chuck is that that you are using to finish off the bottom of the nut.

    Sam, never thought you needed music. Worse thing about it is that it is so unexpected and louder than what your voice was. Otherwise, I enjoyed your video. I want to try thread chasing one of these days.

    Hi Sam. I really enjoy your channel and this little project is no exception. However, I have a request of you. If you find it really necessary to use the background music it would really be much better at half the volume. Something soft in the background rather than the sudden change from your soft voice to music at twice the volume. Thanks for the video and keep them coming.
