I work as a pest control service guy. I drive through and around Atlantic City constantly. since I am originally from Pennsylvania, its interesting to view the grandeur of the city that once was. thanks
The last picture was taken from The Traymore Hotel, known as "The Sandcastle By The Sea." It was, at one time, the world's largest resort hotel and had Absecon Island's (where Atlantic City's located) first elevator. The Traymore was imploded in April 1972.
Thanks ! I love the extravagant hotel at 0:43. I hope it's still there. Ten minutes later : A quick research, and I know it was the Malborough-Blenheim Hotel, built in 1906 and destroyed in 1979. RIP
I vividly remember looking up at that hotel in the summer of 78 when i was a kid. It was shutdown and remember seagull's flying around the top. It was so eerie but beautiful!

It's terrible that they would tear down such a beautiful building.
A few of the hotels from Atlantic City’s golden age survived but this unfortunately wasn’t one of them
