You explained it very beautifully. Today I applied the same for Petronet which was bullish but my luck turned bearish. I end up with loss of some money. :D. Trend was bullish for month, week and day. even last 45 mins trend was bullish... but once I bought it... it became bearish and hit my stop loss. Really dont know how suddenly it happened. I will try this again for multiple shares.. I did paper trading and things were coming good but in real world trade, seriously very tough to decide....

Its a time consuming exercise to filter such stocks.. It will be good if your team creates such a automatic filter tool using NSE data and share it so that the work becomes easy for us.

Let us know first how to find trending stocks, because directional system works only on particular trend, and first 45 or 1 hour trend can reverse from resistance mostly..see how nifty or bank nifty behavior, higher market cap stock mostly following indices, and in such kind of range bound scenario, hard to follow UDTS, so need to screen out trending stocks from Nifty 200 or 500, how to find that every day please let us know..
Yesterday's Stock selection from Investing.com will not give you today's uptrend or downtrend stocks, so in short you please explain how to get a trending stock everyday when market opens..UDTS works in Trending have tried many times..not working.. You have to get a pure trend from any screening support..

There's no fixed number. You look for trend reversal.
