    These are actually great. I'm sorry for those who struggle with patients and the ability to follow instructions. Glass ones break, and are not forgiving. Thanks for the reminder of wet installation!

    yea, the quality of install will be fine for most, however, this is NOT glass, will NOT feel or look like glass and will NOT be able to be installed as cleanly as glass. Now, that being said, with all the curved and bendable screens out there now, those devices are simply stuck with products like this. If you have the option of glass though and are not ok with "usable" get the glass. Glass is also MUCH EASIER to install & you get to use your phone in 5 min not hours later after it has dried!

  • @kaykay1kc

    i use this film on both my s8+ and the galaxy watch active and love it. its best to install it @ bedtime and allow to dry overnight. that way youre not missing your phone use. i know my husband is surprising me with the s10+ for christmas, so thats why i looked it up again online.
    whereas my phone stays in my purse throughout most of the school day, my watch gets the most use and takes all the hits. the screen protector does the job and prevents all scratches and scuffs. though it came as an 8 pack, ive only needed to change the screen protector now at christmas time since purchase in august as the scratches and scuffs from a couple drops were plentiful. i was pleased to peel off the old film and find my watch as good as new. will be purchasing again.

    What a ridiculous long video and a ridiculous long process !
    I ended up using my eye glass cleaning spray and it took just a few minutes. On my note 10 i didn't bother turning it off or waiting its supposed to be water proof anyway, a littlw quick drying spray didn't seem to hurt it

    Does anyone know what to use for cleaning this protector daily? I can't find ANY info on their website about it, or anywhere on the internet for that matter. The video said to clean it with the soap solution after it dries after installation is complete. I hope they don't mean that's what I'll have to clean it with every day because I hate the residue it left behind. With the cheapo plastic protectors I've been using until now, I always sanitized the screen daily with a homemade spray: 50-50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Is that safe for this film??
    Also, I'm surprised that a thin film would provide impact protection to prevent the phone screen from shattering. Does it really?

    Honestly this is a lot of work for a phone case

    • @moogle68
      @moogle68 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With phones costing anywhere from $250-$1700, and this being a ~$10 screen protector that stays permanently fixed to the screen, completely protects the screen from breaking when dropped, and does so without having to replace it and handle broken glass each time it's dropped (like you would have to with a glass screen protector), I think 20 minutes of your time is perfectly reasonable. I've used these types of screen protectors since the original iTouch/iPhone came out around 2010, used them on 4 separate devices so far, dropped each device many times, and so long as you have this type of protector and a case, you don't have to worry about anything. If you really don't think that level of protection is worth 20 minutes of your time then that's your decision to make, and you can see for yourself how well your phone, that is [likely] made of pure glass, holds up when dropped from literally any height.

      Wet Install Screen Protectors actually quite easy to install. The design is not bad, this ridiculously long video to explain a simple process is what is bad. This video could be cut to 1 minute. 3 minutes is absolute maximum it should take to explain the process in a video.

    Hi does it decrease screen quality?

    • @moogle68
      @moogle68 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, some phones have a setting the 'display' section that increases touch sensitivity for the screen if you have a screen protector on, so you might have that, but it's not really necessary, imo.

    • @kaykay1kc
      @kaykay1kc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      mine came with a spray bottle of solution. ive only use that so the cup of soap water must be an alternative method.

    • @D0NCH33T0
      @D0NCH33T0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It most likely is. Did this on my mom's Motorola with the soap water and it came out pretty good.

    • @moogle68
      @moogle68 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Soap and water is almost exactly identical to the solution that most of these screen protector companies use. So, technically, yes it is an "alternative", but not really an _alternate_ solution to what is shipped with most other screen protector installation kits. You aren't missing out on anything (with the exception of a free miniature spray bottle, I guess) by using soap+water, or hampering the effectiveness of your installation by using soap+water instead of the company's pre-made solution.

    This seems like a pain in the butt.... But I am very excited to try it. I have recently had a $30 tempered glass SP replaced 3 times after either coming off because of a case or cracking because of a case. I finally gave up thinking that was my only option and went with no SP. 1 year down the line I dropped my phone on a walk and I shattered my Stylo :( I really hope this SP will stay put with a case!!
